Interesting you bring up the investigation of police officers.  Remember it was Eric Holder’s DOJ Civil Rights Division that investigated the Ferguson “Hands Up Don’t Shoot” incident and they determined it was a clean shoot.  The line attorneys and law enforcement have a tough job, but at the end of the day they usually come to the right decision.

I would bet dollars to donuts that Trumpty dumpty knew absolutely nothing about this incident beforehand.  And if he did, he would NOT have lifted a finger to grant it more LE attention.

you refer to police officers?  As one with family members of multiple generations who are/were members of the NYPD, I can tell you how it really is.

 
Police in every city in the United States are a cross-section of the societies they serve.  There are good and bad people in our police departments.  Fortunately, way more good than bad.  They are human beings who have a very difficult job and often have to make split second decisions while under duress.  Obviously, occasionally human beings make mistakes.  Cops make mistakes.  Sometimes honest, forgivable mistakes.

 
Having said that, fortunately while they are in the minority, bad cops definitely do bad things, they do those bad things with malice and bad intentions.  These bad cops absolutely deserve to be weeded out   Because of the nature of police work and a culture that demands all cops have each other's back, it becomes increasingly difficult to weed these bad apples out.

 
This is why any good cop will always have his/her body cam on.  And if put in a situation where ALL the evidence is available, should never shy away from being second guessed in ANY operation they engage in.  True it takes time out of a cop's day and results in added paperwork, but it also adds to the integrity of the system

Back to Minneapolis, No one should be surprised by the cops killing an unarmed black man, even unarmed white women get shot by the police up there.  

 
Of course the Somalian cop who shot the white woman got 13 years, lets see how much time (if any) this white cop gets? I honestly don't know all the details about this one, but it doesn't look good for the cop, so far. I'll reserve actual judgment until all the facts come out, it's not like the news ever gets these things wrong you know. (cue in the idiot lefties calling me a racist now)

Was watching the news this evening and they interviewed one protestor who was strapped up (Minnesota is an open carry state).  Things got dicey last night. Let’s pray that cooler heads prevail tonight.
