So is this the real reason as to why Mr. Obama was awarded the NPP?  Was it to help secure his vote in December in Copenhagen?

I realize many don't like Monckton or Chuck Norris; so why not cut out the middle-man and read the treaty? I did. All of nearly 200 pages.

I'm not going to cut and paste until your eyes glaze over. Instead, I will summarize this in terms most will understand: self interest.

This treaty will economically penalize Americans and do wealth-redistribution to developing nations instead. Americans are already suffering from job loss, huge income differentials and more -- and these problems will only be exacerbated.

This treaty will undermine the authority of WE THE PEOPLE to petition our representatives in order to make laws regarding the environment that WE would like; instead canceling out huge chunks of our authority in favor of imposition by an unelected body.

I realize this stuff is drab and boring -- but it is IMPORTANT to the future of our children and grandchildren. You owe it to yourself to get educated and then ACT.
