along with CNN & MSNBC, they draw in a viewership estimated between 25-30 million. Fox's primetime audience is 2 million.

However, if you're just talking about 3 cable news outlets, Fox handily outrates CNN & MSNBC .

shows just how ridiculous it is that our President is spending time talking about Fox News.

I never liked the threads about who is the best president or the worst president or the most popular president, etc.  But I'll tell you exactly what President Obama is -- the most thin-skinned President.

And it really surprises me because when he was elected I thought that would not be the case.  

I don't like many of his policies but other than his apparently fragile ego and this thin-skinned mentality, I have few complaints about him as a person.

face. But that was pretty serious shit.  Thanks to his own stupidity.  And it is hard to compare today's media and technology with that of the Nixon era.  Nixon could never survive with that attitude in today's media world.

What President Obama is obsessing about, though, is peanuts compared to Nixon's issues.

And I was not trying to be backhanded at all inmy comments about the President.  As a man, I like him.  Hey, we White Sox fans need to stick together.  But it is my hope that come 2013 he has a lot more time on his hands to watch the Sox play.

I agree he is thin -skinned and it is also a very big gamble to get the far left back all fired up in his corner going after FOX as indies have left him so he is banking on the far left progressives to get out and vote.

CBS, NBC, ABC, CNN, PBS, the L.A. Times, the N.Y Times, the S.F. Chronicle, and a hundred other papers and TV stations have a bias for the Dems.

One voice favors the GOP and the left can't get over it.

In Rolling Stone Obama attacks Fox.

When in the history of the United States has the president felt he needed to take on the portion of the press that disagreed with him?  After 8 years of being attacked by CBS, did THE EVIL BUSH say one word about "the press."  

What is it about having one dissenting voice that drives the left bongos.

One word answer to that question, Phil --- jealousy.

It kills the libs that conservatives have a cable network that not only gets the ratings but also gets talked about constantly by other media. And by the Commander-in-Chief himself.

The President couldn't be doing Fox News a better favor than what he is doing.  Giving them free publicity from the most famous address in the Unites States.

It's not the voice per se, its the arrogant hubris of the messengers I think that enflames the outrage of the left, and even some less liberal but still progressive types like myself.

I believe the likes of Hannity, O'Reilley and most especially Limbaugh, who claim to be "entertainers" have been drinking too much of their own hyperbolic Kool Aid, and have intentionally fed the fires of polarization in order to pump their ratings. Madison Avenue at its deceptive best, propaganda at its malevolent worst. Take your pick.

Either way, you've got a country bursting at the seams and at least some of that is hatred fueled by the extreme right wing, starting with Sarah Palin and the Murdoch Agenda promoted by Fox and its "entertainers".

It's not even the politics as much as it is the arrogant hubris on display, whether it be the hypocrisy of the Fire n Brimstone preacher who swindles money from his flock, or the Homophobic Senator from RightWingAmerica who gets caught with his cock in some young boys ass.

It is funny because we on the conservative side view the media as having hubris coming out of their ears.  We think that Rather knew better than all of us when he ran with a story he had been warned was possibly false.

As for homophobic senators caught cornholing young boys, so people don't live up to ideals.  But I really don't know what that has to do with the fact that the president has to rail against a news organization.

When Rev. Jackson was caught in his little lover triangle, EVIL BUSH didn't rail against NBC.  So you find a flawed and failed soul on the right. I guess that mean we should shutter Fox.
