A normal person would look at an example like that and say, "Wow...they handled this really well.  Had we done some of those things, we would probably be in better shape now."  But your dumbass says that because it didn't come from Western Europe...it doesn't count.  Did you even read the article?  I doubt it...not enough pictures.

 
Speaking of Europe...let's be honest.  You never compare us to Germany, which is kicking our ass on all fronts.  You just go on and on about places like Italy.  Yeah...remember them, when a month ago who were puffing your chest out about how amazing our numbers were compared to them?  Just for fun, let's look at your favorite stats today and see how they've aged.

In 4 short weeks...we now have MORE cases/million than them.  And we've gone from having 6x fewer deaths, to only 2x fewer deaths.  Remember what I said about trajectory of the disease spread?  Of course you don't, because you're a nitwit.  But I think everyone else here can see where this is going.  And hey...Italy is now re-opening their economy after having weeks of decreasing cases.  Meanwhile, we're opening things up while half the country is having all time highs in terms of cases.  Let's check back a month from now shall we?  You just need to shut the hell up when it comes to the science.

Give it up.  You didn't know shit about what was going on a month ago, and you don't know shit about what's going on now.  Let's see...one modern country, including your favorites from Europe, is almost doubling its case and mortality estimates.  One modern country is dumb enough to come out of lockdown after the economic damage was done but before the health benefits set in.  Newsflash...everyone else in the world knows to stay locked down until case numbers have decreased significantly.

 
Face it...this administration's response has been a disaster.  Starting from ignoring things for months, instituting travel bans that didn't really ban anyone, being late with testing, fuckups with PPE, and now letting states ignore their own guidelines on reopening.  It's a joke.  And we're the country that put people on the moon.  If you believe in "American Exceptionalism" and aren't embarrassed by this, then you're a joke too.

 
Now all your side has left are things like "100k+ dead is the cost of doing business" and "We need to let this run its course, and if that means 3 million people die, oh well."
