you apply though your bank, not directly to SBA or Treasury.  The bank approves you using STANDARDS mandated by the SBA, and then the funds go to the bank, who directly deposits them into your business account.  The borrowers on the PPP program already have the money before the paperwork gets to the SBA.  If Harvard applied to their own bank where they have sequestered some of the endowment funds, what do you think the bank is going to do?  Accept the loan app, or tell them to fuck off?

...Where did you see that Harvard got $40 million?  In the two TRILLION dollar relief package, about SEVEN PERCENT of the bill was a specific set-aside for the Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund aimed to help STUDENTS, NOT the universities.  Through a formula in the law, Harvard was allocated $8.7 million.  Harvard has dedicated 100% of that money to students in financial need, so Trump is talking out of his ass as usual when he says Harvard will get the money.

I responded within the four corners of the OP, off the top of my head.   The OP said, 1)  they got $40,000,000, and 2) THEY GOT IT FROM THE SMALL BUSINESS FUND.  The response I gave about how the small business fund works is 100% correct.  If you can point to any detail I gave about how it works which is incorrect, I will STFU, but I have already applied for the PPP, and I know EXACTLY how it works.  How was I supposed to know the OP's facts were wrong?  You are the only one that spends your life verifying EVERYTHING someone else says, and looking shit up before you say it because you know very little off the top of your head.
