. . . and although I am going out of town for 3 weeks next week, I will take you up on your offer, sir (that is, to meet you in person.)

Also, I do realize that a few of you hobbyists have emailed, to which I have not replied, and without meaning to sound rude, I am NOT going to fan the flames by mentioning any other names.  As far as I am concerned, this is all just a big misunderstanding (although others seem to disagree) and really should have no bearing upon the reputation of any provider whatsoever.  Hence the public apology.

My top three most curious providers: skysilverman and DonnaNextDoor (who are far too far away from me, unfortunately).  Hobbyists: sundad, Occularblues and HotOffLoad

Thanks (I guess) to the those who voted for me in Love Machine's poll, with the notable exception of lfa, who truth be told, happens to be a longtime friend of mine with whom I am particularly pissed off at right now because of the humor he has derived in the recent matter of miscommunication between me and a certain other provider which may (or may not) have been a PUBLIC discussion board matter if he could have kept his mouth zipped.

This brings me to the related matter with said provider, which I believe warrants a public response in the same forum for which I made an ass of myself.  Long story short - said provider and I had some tentative plans made several weeks ago, I called/emailed to solidify those plans closer to the time frame discussed, I missed said provider's email reply (which erroneously went into my junk mail box) and assumed I had been blown off (which was very suprising coming from said provider), and then that Friday, on one of the worst days of my life (professionally speaking), I saw her posting, which was intended to be a joke and entirely consistent with the normally sarcastic repoir that she and me have, and broke the cardinal rule of the hobby - DON'T TAKE IT PERSONALLY.  I have since apologized to said provider with the necessary level of clarification, but apparently, this matter has adversely affected my professional relationship with another provider whom I value, but now understandably doubts my ability to keep it all professional.  I can tell all you providers that "it was really not like me," but the damage is done.  The message I leave with all you hobbyists is to do what I say, not what I do.

Peace, folks.
