No bartering allowed on TER

I guess I don't understand what difference there is in  trading my time for $$$$ or services.  It never was an issue in the past and so this is why I posted it. I did the post hoping one person in particular would respond that I had lost his email.

not my rule....ter doesn't allow bartering....pure and simple.....

according to the IRS...bartering is illegal unless you claim it on your taxes.  Hehe

I don't think there's a rule against asking for recommendations for services.  (i.e. "Anybody know a good painter in the hobbyist community?")  Don't offer to trade.  (Save that for the negotiations after they contact you.)  I'm sure Dingus will correct me if I'm wrong.

On LA board there is a gal looking to trade for a personal trainer and her post has been kept up I guess it depends on where you post
