for the communities information, there are only a few moderated posters in Phoenix.....you have a very responsible community for the most part....and when someone steps out of line like lookingCali did recently, you let me know in large numbers...keep it up.

If you believe that Dingus does the right thing when he takes down posts that are nasty for nasty's sake and moderates repeat offenders.

If you believe that a member should have an unrestricted right to attack others in any way he/she wishes, without risk of removal or moderation.

It is difficult to comment not knowing what the original post that got her moderated was.

in response to a post that simply complimented the lady's new pics.  Three separate members posted within about an hour of each other in the middle of the night.  They were ad hominem attacks, and as Dingus referenced above, they were nasty for nasty's sake.  Repeating the posts here would defeat the purpose of removing them.

He gets NOTHING in return for simply trying to make this a useful forum from which people can gain helpful, honest and fair information.

He allows a lot of free speech, and gave lookingCali (and the other 2 bashers) a lot of leeway over the past few months.

When Dingus concludes that the line has been crossed, and for no good reason, moderation is the appropriate consequence.  Freedom and responsibility are two sides of the same coin.  You people who keep abusing the forum should leave TER, and go somewhere that people don't value civility and fairness.

Absolutley. I think what entered into this is one of the golden rules. If you can't say something nice, shut it.
If you can't control it, you deserve to be moderated. Honesty is one thing, but being mean is quite another.

I would never make those type of comments for that specific provider in which they were posted.  I have my suspicion of who I thin posted it and I referenced that person under this original post....I think I refered to that person as a leech...he knows who he is and so do I.

We should be allowed to speak our minds.  However, we must, must be mindful of others feelings.  It's never OK to hurt others feelings.

but i try to never get upset at someone when they are speaking the truth as they see it.  if their opinion isnt the same as mine, they are probably wrong but they should still be allowed to express it.

sincerity is hard to come by, and almost impossible on these boards but i never have to wonder what lookingcali's motivation for posting is.  he has no hidden agenda.  he just tells it like it is from his demented mind.

his posts are actually worth reading .. they certainly arent the same inane posts that are posted over and over again.

but yes he definitely needs to be moderated.. he's gotten way out of line way too many times

but i've also seen him stand up for providers too.

one of them was from mystique i believe ..people were bashing a drunk girl at a party.  
and he told someone to respect jordan k's privacy when they posted information regarding a personal tragedy she was going through..

so he's not always nasty.
i think he's got some integrity and i think he has good intentions towards the industry but needs to work on smoothing out his delivery a while before he's let loose unmoderated again. ..

i dont think he has any ill will towards our community except towards those he suspects prey upon it as wolves in sheep's clothing.

i've heard the speculative rumors about him possibly being a girl and thats ridiculous if you  read his posts. he writes like a guy.

i'd rather someone just told me the truth and i'm mature enough to realize thats not always going to be nice.  its ok, i can handle it.  but i hate fake people and phony compliments and hidden agendas.

someone had emailed me a thread and by the time i logged on, it was already taken down but i could still read it cuz i had the url and it was soooo mean and uncalled for.

and still hurtful to me even though it was down, still hurt my feelings.
