Barrett Jackson has terrible vehicles. Totally terrible for the hobby and the government conditions in Maricopa County. First you never want a flashy car or one with alot of horsepower since the government will fine you for speeding. Moreover, a lowered car is a terrible choice given the terrible road conditions in Phoenix and Maricopa County - you will scrape your car every day if it is not a high clearance vehicle.
I recommend the Toyota Tacoma truck with camper shell for Arizona with inline 4 cylinder make easy to reach alternator and starter, etc. Or possibly the Chevrolet Astro Van with mattress in the back or Toyota Sienna (easy to reach starter) or Previa Van. The minivan or midsize truck is the ideal vehicle, with high clearance and low power, which will save on traffic stops and pothole damage, which are the main hazards for driving in Arizona.
