"We are on to you" Scottsdale calls?

I have a PM report that a companion in Scottsdale after responding by text is being told "we are on to you" calling her by her full name that would be hard to find. She is concerned whether this is a crual joke or fears LE might show up and arrest her. Anyone else hearing of these calls (was about 3 days ago)?

This is my response:
This sounds like its one of two situations, neither of which is likely to result in any further action. LE doesn't warn and then go arrest at least not that I have heard about.

1) EIther an old boyfriend or his friend or some vigilante trying to intimidate companions. Names are fairly easy to find for most folks depending on how the phone is listed and other information on social media etc.

2) It is possible it was the "real" LE doing something similar to what they did to customers who replied to ads a few months ago in the semi-annual joint task force national FBI operation. Phoenix LE warned callers to ads about how prostitution was illegal and in the media report how hundreds of potential sex trafficking and children were "saved" by DIVERTING customers from them. Phoenix was the only city without arrests but "diversions."

It seems the new (female) Phoenix police chief is perhaps no longer going after pretend victims as prostitution arrests seem to have gone way down since she took over. We can only hope. This "diversion" not arrest in the latest FBI task force action supports this. Other cities like Chandler, Mesa, and others seem to be more active now with stings of consenting adults.

As for Scottsdale. About a year or so ago they did a lot of busts for escorting without a license. They looked for ads that mentioned Scottsdale and of course, the required escort license was not on the ad (never seen an ad that complied), so found and arrested the companion who didn't have her escort ID on her. In Scottsdale, this has the mandatory minimum 15 days in jail, while in Phoenix it's a civil offense not criminal.

I monitored the Scottsdale weekly arrest blotters and reported on the escorting without a license busts. But after not seeing any didn't spend the time since they are 20-30 pages long each week. I just scanned the latest weekly Scottsdale blotter and no arrests related to sexwork.

Perhaps Scottsdale is doing the "diversion" program now with companions picking up on the Phoenix program for customers. Or, it could be the first option of an old boyfriend or a prank by a vigilante type anti-prostitution nut case.
