Hello friends,

I have to report that my Tryst account has been hacked by a scammer.

Please do not contact the phone number the scammer has listed or pay any deposits that they request! I currently have no control over the account but I have contacted Tryst to get the matter resolved and regain control of my account.

I do not use phone communication, only email, TER messages and P411 at this point in time.

I am incredibly frustrated that this has occurred and I hope that no one has been scammed in my name. I will respond to this thread when I have regained my Tryst account and I will announce it a new thread as well.

So sorry you’re going through this, but how to prevent it from happening to others?

Can you please share in the Provider Only forum?

I always delete spam & block fake tryst accounts daily. I never click on the links they provide. I’m just trying to figure out how.

There is a vegas lady that looks like she was hacked or someone using her pictures. Katya Kane who is legit. The account in question is called Jade and using her pictures.

This is scary. Do you know how this happened and if so, can you pm me and share? Were you able to get it taken care of? I’ve had ads listed on weird sites with my info but I think they were more copycat sites like (EM 🙄)  but thankfully have never had anyone get into my actual accounts… yet. Everyone knows I use email though so that would be a big red flag if I ever had a number listed. If your passwords
are similar on other sites make sure you changed your password on those sites also. That’s like (one) of my biggest fears is someone scamming people and using my name. My ex works in IT and it’s scary how easy it is for scammers to do this. Change your password regularly and don’t use the same password as you do for everyday
Stuff (bank accounts, phone accounts,
Social media) good luck girly 🫶

I managed to see some of these fake Tryst messages floating around and for those not paying close attention, I can better see how so many can get scammed.   My word of advice:  if you get a fake Tryst email message, mark the message as "Junk" or "Spam" so the server-side junk filter can "learn".  As it gets better, those messages won't end up in your inbox anymore.  Just don't find them in your junk folder and start clicking links.  lol
.
The biggest piece of information is: most of the things contained in the fake Tryst messages are NOT things the Tryst team will ever ask for, via email.  So, if you're not sure if anything is up with your account, simply LOGIN to Tryst directly and make sure all is well.  Just don't trust the messages telling you there's a problem with your account OR that you're getting a gift, etc.

I'm happy to report that my Tryst account has been restored and back in my control !! All the information is now accurate again, so please feel free to view it and feel safe to contact me via Tryst.

For fellow providers, I will make a post in the Providers Only section to detail how I was hacked and what to process to restore it was.

I'm glad you recovered your account!!!  Since my last post above, I've seen many more messages from the scammers and they are truly RELENTLESS!!!!!  It's nuts!!!!  At this point, it's almost impossible to know if a message from Tryst is legit or not, so the advice to NOT trust ANY email messages claiming to be from Tryst is probably the easiest to follow.  Some of these scammers don't even mention Tryst in the first message and in subsequent messages, will they post a link to a fake Tryst site.  *sigh*
