My two sons are Marines and both have done their tour in Iraq. When they are in uniform and a person shakes their hand and says thank you, pays for their haircut at the barber, pays for their dinner in the restaaurant and many other "random acts of kindness" it brings tears to my eyes. My sons are very proud to be Marines and do their job well! I thank any soldier I see as well. Diana

This was very special for me. My son just returned after a year in Iraq. Thank you so much for posting it.

thanks for the post.  Lest we forget those who serve and their poor families that sit anxiously at home.

Our brave men and women who fight for our freedom deserve at least a standing ovation, if not more.  Thanks for sharing something so touching Terri.

And thank you to all our troops.

emailed me that same clip last week.

About 3 months ago as I was leaving the PHX airport, people started standing and clapping. I turned and there were about 50 members of the armed forces behind me. I stepped aside and joined in the applause.

If I were a beer drinker that commercial would have me drinking Bud.

So good to see you again (smile)...next time I will be closer!

thank you for the fun and sharing!

Terri

First and foremost I’ll like to thank the troops for all they sacrifice in protecting our way of life.  Secondly I’d like to thank their parents and families for nurturing the type of individuals with the courage to step up to this dangerous task when necessary.  Thirdly I’d like to thank Terri who's consistent support of the troops and families reminds us what they are doing for us.  Lastly I’d like to thank the tenor of the responding posts for staying focused on the intent of the original message.

I have seen this happen at DFW twice in the past three years.  Also, seen many people give up first and business class seats to our soldiers.
