I'm a huge fan of role-play, personally.  My question for providers - how to do you feel about it?  Do you enjoy it as well, or do you feel that it detracts from the overall experience??  Even though I enjoy role-play, sometimes I am afraid to ask about it because I know that it can kill the spontaneity of the moment.

I know that a lot of it depends on the type of role-play and the extent of it, but am just curious about the general feeling of providers here and how us hobbyists could explore this better.

Role play can take a scene from extraordinary to un-fucking-believable when it is done right.

But it has to be something that you and your provider can both be invested in. A provider who says "Sure I can pretend to be your secretary" but doesn't really take on the role of secretary isn't going to give you the kind of experience you are looking for. But it is not just the provider who has to be into it. You have to make sure you are completely into the scene as well. When you are the "boss" (just an example) do  you come prepared with file folders of work (or disciplinary reports, etc.) that need to be discussed? Are you dressed as the "boss"?

When you approach a provider with a role play request, make sure you have a firm idea in mind of the scene you would like to play. I warn my role-players that the scene they want starts the minute they ring my doorbell, so having a really good idea, then letting the provider run with it, can make for one hot scene!
