reviews dont work in the way your discussing them.

Lately, I have found several reviews whose dates have changed...  The Sheika's memory is not what it used to be; so, I was wondering, has anyone else NOTICED the same thing...

Also, I have notice that there never seems to be two reviews by the same reviewer listed in a row for the same provider. I find this strange. I realize that it probably would not happen too often, but it must happen every now and then. Out of curiosity, could anyone direct me to an instance where this does occur? Or, give me a good reason why it NEVER, EVER, seems to happen? For various reasons I think this could be useful information.

I truly love to contribute to this board, and it seems like several weeks since I have had the chance to do so. I would write more today, but the Sheika is very, very busy. She is caught in the throes of battle. As you all know, tax time is approaching. It is that dreaded time of year when we must unleash our agile brains and mighty nerves of steel to match wits with the vaunted IRS.

I’d like to thank everyone who has personally e-mailed or PM’ed me. You are all very thoughtful and inquisitive. I appreciate your interest in the things I have to say…

PEACE, PROPERITY AND LOVE,

Sheika Fatima

As far as I know a reviewer is only allowed one review per lady.  If he reviews her again, they will take down the old one.

I'm pretty sure about this as it has happened to me!

I know just what you mean about this time of year and the tax man....All I know is I'm glad I don't do that kinda of work anymore....I hate it and love what I do now...
Take care, Sheika

Hmm, only one review per reviewer per lady...

That seems like a very strange policy.

I wonder why it is done that way? What is the reason behind it all? Who would benefit from such a policy? Who would be protected? Certainly not the client or provider...

Suppose the quality of service improved or got worse, what better way to judge than by comparing reviews by the same reviewer? If that were the case, I think the WHOLE community would benefit; don’t you? Things would become more open, more above board, more congenial.

Maybe I’m being a bit paranoid, but it almost seems like the powers that be are trying to hide something; and this state of affairs has been progressing for a couple of months.

Hmm, it seems like an odd policy to me. Am I missing something?

I would like to know where these "policies" and rules are written down.

PEACE AND LOVE,

Sheika Fatima

Since you receive 2 free vip weeks for each accepted review it makes sense to encourage the men to see as many providers as possible. It does anyone little good to know that Billy Jim Bob really really likes Karrie Lynn Sue and sees her every week....

Moby, darling, it is so good to hear from you. It seems like we have not communicated in months; and the Sheika certainly treasures your opinions.

You have such common since and you seem to know your way around the business. I can definitely see your point from that perspective. Yes indeed, it is much like racking up frequent flyer miles on different carries, or much like the punch card prostitution that someone mentioned on the board awhile back.

Now, I can see your point about Karrie Lynn and Billy Jim, but just suppose something unfortunate happened--say, someone mysteriously disappeared or had a run in with the law, or who knows what.

Moby dear, your approach is so impersonal. Karrie Lynn and Billy Jim are human beings. They are not animals in heat.

I am sorry if the Sheika is just being an old mother hen. I’m concerned about the bad and unfortunate things that happen all too often in this business.

PEACE AND PROSPERITY,

Sheika Fatima

P.S. Oh, by the way, Cleo and I are still waiting for that barn dance…

Sheika your one of the smartest people on the board however your also missing the point of what a review is and what it isnt.
Ideally they are so infomative no one has to discuss fees, services, and what can and cannot happen when the door shuts and the lights go down.  Occasionionally they are simply written to lure the unwary into a state of poverty. Most fall in the middle.
Hence for me they are little more than contact info, with the assurance that something happened for some other guy so i may have it happen for me too. They are little snapshots of a point in history rather like a photograph.
what they arent useful for at all however is a way to keep tabs on one another. the discussion boards are better suited to that purpose by design.
Here is where we find out who's up to what or at least the rumor of activity, to be followed up with a quick email or phone call to the principles involved if so inclined. I wish the hobby were kinder to everyone however it is what it is.

as for that dance anytime or place :)

Seems the reviews like everything else in life mean one thing to someone and something deferent to someone else.  What is must important about Billy Jim Bob and Karrie Lynn Sue is they seem to be satisfied with their arrangement.  The fact that Billy continues to see Karrie is IMHO pertinent information.  Perhaps you are a frequent reader of the board and reviews, particularly don’t care for Karrie and have eliminated her from consideration; the repeated references by Billy are probably annoying. Maybe you are relatively new and don’t have a problem with Billy or Karrie their references could be the catalyst to make contact with her.  Could be you’re total familiar with Billy and can’t stomach him; chances are Karrie isn’t going to get your call.  The client/provider base is dynamic; so good, bad or indifferent, the associations engender information that can influence contact decisions.

What use would this database fill if it were simply page after page of the same man seeing the same woman; writing the same review week afer week?
If more than one is allowed when has he written too many? 2 or 5 or 10 or 20? TER has the correct idea in my opinion. The policy keeps the database uncluttered and fresh (so all we have to worry about are self reviews, pimp reviews, reviews with an agenda, and reviews of sessions that never happened instead) I honestly couldnt see any other way for such a system to work.

I see your point and agree from a maintenance prospective things could get out of hand.  And if your not big on repeat visits nothing new can be garnered from a stale point of view.  However I still feel that consistent clientele is an important positive indicator and is lost within the current scheme. A Lady with consistent repeat patrons suffer from this in that those positive samples lost “in the numbers” when a new review is posted.   I’m all for variety if for nothing more than to clear the palate but numbers, and assuming you mean total reviews, don’t really equate to quality as I view it.  Window dressing can attract a lot of attention and activity.

This is a wonderful, well thought-out discussion. There have been excellent points made by all. So, let the Sheika put in another two cents worth [That is: if I’m using the colloquial idiom correctly? Hmm, maybe in the Sheika’s case it should be dhinars; but, I digress]…

Why not compromise? Let’s set some guide lines; or, let's convince TER to change their rules a bit.

Why not allow multiple reviews, but not too often: Billy Jim would be allowed to post reviews about Karrie Lynn once a month, or once every two months, or twice a year; or whatever the community deemed appropriate?

If this seems like a reasonable compromise, I would be interested in seeing how the system works. I would be interested in seeing what type of "convincing" it would take to get TER to comply.

LOVE YOU ALL
