Sorry to hear that your first time turned out that way! I would contact the agency and let them know of your experience. The top agaencies don't want that kind of gal working for them.
I know that I was nervous the first few times I arranged to meet someone. I've had some wonderful experiences and met some great women. Of course there were a few times when I was disappointed. But then I was very lucky and met an absolutely wonderful woman. She in turn introduced me to some of her friends and I've been having a blast ever since.

First time plunge into the world of hobbying. I was nervous, not sure if this was for me.
Contacted an agency and set appt with well reviewed provider. She showed up 30 minutes late. No problem, things happen but the waiting made me even more anxious. When she showed up she was sweating profusely. Said it was her auto A/C on the fritz but she never stopped sweating. Anounced upon arrival that she had a cold/sinus infection. She talked for half an hour and I finally had to stop her and ask if she would change into something less conservative. She had to go back out to her car for something to change into. Finally she emerged from the bathroom with a long sleeve blouse and granny thong. Said something about not being able to take the long sleeve blouse off because of some medical condition. She seemed like a nice person and I felt sorry for her. The mood --- if there ever was one --- was shot. When we finally did attempt to salvage our meeting it was useless. As nervous as I was I could easily have held her and talked but with the long sleeve blouse and her cold/sinus infection combined with her sweating so much that she had to tie her hair back, it just wasn't working for me.
She did stay a little longer to try to make up for our awkward encounter and I appreciated that part.
I know that I'm rambling but I just needed to ask if this is common --- girls showing up when they should have stayed home. Also, wondering if this has happened to others and even if some of you might know which girl I'm referring to. I'm not looking for anything from the agency, just some feedback from others --- whether you are guys or gals. Thanks!
I would let the agency know. The reputable agencies should make it right, if not let this forum know. Our indie ladies and good agencies are interested in providing quality time. I have had a few cancellations because of illness but never have had a lady show up sick. Some clues, sweating profusely, stuffy nose and long sleeves? Maybe this lady has a different kind of problem. If so I hope she finds help
I agree-Not to cast aspersions on this provider but there is the chance it might be something more than a cold. I would have asked her to go home and given her some money for her troubles. Like others have said- call the agency. But being your first time- I can understand your response. Also don’t know if she was well reviewed- but I can assure you the top girls here would never put you through something like that
that is not common. I too recommend that you contact the agency and make them aware of the situation. If it is among one of the agencies here in the Valley I am sure they would make sure you are taken care of!
By all means give the agency a call and tell them about your experience. If you used one of our top agencies they will surely do something to make up for the poor quality of service. And, yes, I have had ladies show up that should be home and in bed with a thermometer in their mouth.
in my experience but things like this do happen. Obviously the suggestion to call the agency is a good one. For future reference I'd have called the agency while the gal was still there if you were that put out (and you have every right to be). Under the circumstances I'd have given the gal $20 for gas and told her I'd love to see her when she's feeling up to par and has everything else in her life straightened out.
What your describing is more apropriate for craigs list, not a top line agency. I think any of the "big 4" would take your concerns pretty seriously (recognizing we're only hearing one side here)...
