I have a question regarding something that's been bugging me.  I'm a hobbiest who prefers extended hour dates...mostly overnighters. Recently I spent my second overnight date with a local agency woman.  Both times, the quoted donation was a non-advertised rate of $3000.  I informed the agency of my intent to schedule more future dates with the same woman and, at the same time, took the opportunity to ask about the quoted donation.  I respectfully mentioned another very reputable and quality agency in Phoenix charged an advertised rate of $2500 for overnighters (their rates have since been increased) and asked if they would consider honoring that rate.  In response, the agency owner communicated they would not because...and I quote...their ladies can easily make more then that doing 4 to 5 appointments in an evening (I guess the same applies to the agency itself). Either way, I have to admit I was surprised by the response.  I understand this business is primarily about the money but I suspect most women would prefer to spend a casual and enjoyable evening with one person rather then see 4 to 5.  Furthermore, given my history with the agency I would also consider the overnighter more guaranteed money versus an evening with multiple appointments, in which case I would imagine there is a higher probability of cancellations.  What was even more surprising is when I asked the agency what the rate would be to spend 24 hours with her in Vegas (my home), they quoted me double the overnight rate ($6000) plus airfare and miscellaneous expenses, of course.

I realize the obvious answer is to take my business elsewhere if I'm not comfortable with the price.  That's my plan but I'm not sure it's going to be that easy.  Unfortunately, the trend I've seen for overnight rates is discouraging and it's gotten to a point where I've been "priced out of the market".  There used to be a time when extended hour dates were seriously discounted.  I remember paying $1,200-$1,500 for overnighters with well known providers when I lived in Phoenix in 2002 and 2003.  Now I'm seeing rates between $3000 and $5000 and even higher.  That's a 100% to over 200% increase during a 3-4 year period.  By comparison, I don't think hourly rates have gone up the same percentages.  Is business really that good or this just a simple matter of the agencies and independents prefering shorter appointments?

Agencies as you know are generally more $ than an independant. There is no hiding that. I personally, enjoy to spend more quality time with someone, rather than quantity time with many. My overnight rate is 2,000. Same rate when I travel (just include airfare). From an agency standpoint- (at least all the women I have known personally who have belonged to agencies) have more of a "Dancer" mentality- where the only thing that matters is making the most amount of $$ in the shortest amount of time (and not having to have the responsibility of running your own business).  agency lady sees 5 men back to back for an hour each with a half hour inbetween, for 6.5 hours of "work" she has made $2,000 + tips for herself and the agency.

Or, she can spend nearly double that amount of time making $3K

I think overnights are a personal preference. As I have mentioned before, most ladies won't accept the offer of one unless you've met for a shorter encounter previously.
*I have also learned to ask about a "sleep" policy ahead of time because many times gentlemen expect us to be un-human and stay up all night. (which I have done, but re-gretted later). A quick 2-3 hour nap I think is reasonable. This might be why you find that overnight rates are higher- because a lot of us have been on overnights that are extremely draining.

Why is everyone so cheap? You asked them to "honor the other agencies rate"? We are not talking about buying a dishwasher-there is a lot of difference between various providers and if one/agency wants to charge their rate than it is up to them but to ask for a discount is just plain cheap and rude. Do you realize what these girls are coming for 12 hours to do (minus 3 hours of sleep)and you expect someone to do that for 1200 bucks.

Get a better job and stop being so cheap and then maybe get back into the overnight market-man I hate cheap people or people always trying to make a bargain with someone.

Sweetie, check out my affordable overnight rates...you will like it. The same for my travel rates. I just have a hard time charging for something I really like...that's my take on it...always. People tell me that I should charge more...I don't want to. It is perfect as it is.

I get to do what I love...AND get paid for it...why charge more than necessary AND you are right, I much rather spend the night with one nice gentleman than 3 or 4. Can't beat that.

I agree with you Tina. I have done the loooong overnighters aswell and regretted it. It is simply not possible for me to stay up until 6am to roll around in the hay. The next couple of days will be screwed up. So I also always ask about the 'sleep" policy. If it is expected of me to stay up all night I simply won't do it but naturally I am a night owl, like now, when it is 2am and I am still wide awake. But there are limitations for sure. If I can get a few hours of sleep that is just fine. But I would say that any gentleman will understand this and I have found that is usually younger gentleman who expects me to be awake ALL night.

maybe agencies and indies should consider a sliding scale based on age ! Us, more seasoned guys won't expect you to stay up all night because we can't !! O fcourse I have never used the little blue pill, so that might be a question along with sleep policy !!  LOL

You should really do some searching around with some of the other agencies.  I love being a flower of azedensgarden!  But the really is a sleep policy for every flower, and indy.  Sleep is very important regardless of the session being overnight.  Anyone of the flowers in the garden would more than likely be able to accomodate your request.

I love doing over nighters, it's fun to be able to relax, play, eat, drink, talk, play, sleep, play, eat, etc.

I've always had very respectful gents that aren't looking for a marathon and really like to take things as they cum. Hell I have many that just seem like the evening just started when it's really over.

Cheap and rude?  There's something I've never been accused of. I'm willing to spend $2,500+ on an evening with a lovely lady and I'm cheap?  Yeah right.

I never said I expect to pay $1,200 today for an overnighter date...that was 2002.  I understand and accept the market price has changed for a variety of reasons but you have to wonder when there's such a big difference in donation rates especially among agencies.  In many cases, the difference exists between women and agencies who have equivalent review scores.  As a result, based on my TER research, your theory that "there is a lot of difference between various providers" doesn't fly.

By the way, I have never and would never question an independent on her overnight donations rates. If I don't like the price, I just won't call her.  In the case of this particular agency though, where their rates were not advertised in writing, I didn't feel it was rude to bring it up (especially when the other agency clearly advertised their overnight rate). Furthermore, it was the second overnighter I had done with the agency and this last one now makes three.

I had some very established hobbiest offer me this advice, when I asked about overnighters. He said, why do it? I said, I like going to sleep and then waking up and having a little something. He said, what the more experienced guys do is schedule a late night, then an early morning. Why do you want a provider in your bed when your eyes are closed? I haven't done an overnighter since. The cost is better on two appointments, I get diversity.

Don't get me wrrong. One of the things I miss is the cuddling part. But let her put you to sleep and then leave. and be woken up in the am.

JUst a thought. One I am sure the folks providing overnighters might not like. Because the cost is significantly less (not being cheap, but practical given the nature of sleep).

Don't give up hope yet NiceGuy.  Usually research and lots of patience will provide success.  Stick to your guns NiceGuy...this is the old west ya know.

I have always preferred spending more QUALITY TIME, not less. It's not a secret that I ONLY do 2 hours or MORE.  I believe SENSUALITY should never be rushed. The more patient, I am the more splendid rewards I receive. I ENJOY the QUALITY GENTLEMEN I have been honored to meet and spend a memorable evening or weekend with...you know...the kind you never forget...all night or not.  I am ready for damn near anything and AGE has nothing to do with it either.  My energy has always been endless.  I would say it is more focused now and not showing any signs of slowing yet either.

I have always offered a BIG DISCOUNT to encourage spending more time, as well.  It seems MOST are in a BIG RUSH or feel guilty and really don't take the time to ENJOY the process.  A quickie or a cold sex act is NOT what you will get with me.  I am a sensual provider of QUALITY COMPANIONSHIP, who absolutely loves traveling and being treated like the CLASSY LADY I AM.  Once you reach this mentality, it's hard to turn back.  It motivates me to perservere for the pure pleasures life has to offer and share it with others of like minds who APPRECIATE that gift.

Boy this is all in interesting to me!  I love overnights. Sometimes it's two and get some sleep with a nice surprise in the morning, sometimes it's three and sleep.  But, the slower pace, conversation, more personal treatment is important.  Plus the snuggle is great while going to sleep, and it's great to have a hand on a hip while I'm sleeping.  I'm 62 and retired, but it's so damned boring in a hotel room alone.  Now, I'm actually lining up possible overnights when I'll be in Phoenix in early March. It's fun doing the research. Thanks TER.
