No, this has nothing to do with the injured hobbiest--I am the injured hobbiest. I do not find your rearks to be the least bit funny. I demand an immediate apology/retraction for your insensitive comment which belittles my misfortune.

I do not see any correlation between the content of this post and my expression of regret for missing the fundraiser as well as seeking a provider who may be able to tailor a session based on my present physical condition. I am not sure how you think someone's actual injury is humorous. What the hell did I ever do to you to deserve being treated in this manner? No, I am not suffering from something trivial like a hang nail--I am fighting to recover from a significant spinal injury. If you opt to continue making derogatory remarks about me, I will act swiftly and decisively to put a halt to your nonsense.

John, sorry about your spine injury I had spine surgery last year and know it is not funny I have met Caf and know he really did not mean to be cruel he was just trying to be funny but sometimes it can come across as hurtful to those of us that have suffered such pain.I hope you are on the mend It took a good 6 months for me to feel better.. just do not add stress to yourself sometimes with the medication we tend to be more sensitive trust me he meant no harm Get well soon V

Vickie's exactly right.  My "comment" (it was, after all, just a subject line long!) was meant to be a humorous reference to the burning-dick story, not your plight.  Your original post, in fact, did not reveal the seriousness of your situation, in order to alert me to "stay off it," and given the fact that you were on the computer posting, looking to get laid, just 12 hours after your surgery, perhaps you can see why I didn't pick up on the depth and intensity of your feelings.

Anyway, no offense intended (although I cannot promise that my "nonsense" will stop--that would leave me with nothing to say at all!)

Send a charity donation to OverCaffeinated, he'll send you back a TER mug or shirt.  Then you'll have a souvenir of the party you had to miss, and you'll have a reason to be in good holiday spirits!

DetanieffaCrevO, your apology is accepted.  Victoria, I sincerely appreciate your empathy--you are  correct about the tendency to be a bit sensitive under the circumstances due to medication and the like.

For clarification sake, I was not seeking to get laid twelve hours after surgery. My intention was (and still is) to locate a provider who could accommodate me in my present state and offer some TLC within the parameters of my present physical limitations. Some gentle TLC will more than likely accelerate the healing process!!!

You know, back in the good old days of traditional PPOs, I probably could have submitted a claim to have it covered as some sort of home healthcare. Nowadays, in the climate of pre-authorization and hellish HMO networks it would be a bit more of a tough sell. Would my primary care physician generate the referral? Might be worth a try!!!...lol

Agreed my dear. Life is a tad bit better when we are able to play nicely with one another. I am not one who engages in venom slinging, but you hit the nail on the head about not being in the best of moods with the way I have been feeling physically. I am enjoying a few laughs after realizing no ill will was ever meant from the previous remarks. Thanks again for your thoughtfulness and empathy.
