Too pick up a bill while on  a date?  Either if it's not really a "date" and just a couple of drinks or on a real date as in food, drinks, movies what ever?  I was on a couple of them lately and I found out later...the word respect came up...the bills were about $20.00 each plus tip...for me....cheap meeting...but I believe I affended this lady by doing that.  Has the dating game changed that much in 10 years?  For $20.00 I can't really cash on any favors sort a speak.....lol
I just assumed (I hate that word...lol) it was my a nice thing to do...Actually.....the thought did even cross my mind!  Whipped out business card and it became a business meeting!!!
There is a lot of differant walks of life in here...sexes, ages and ....what ever.....Just want to know for next time....should I have enough money for me or both.....

For me, it depends on how Im feeling when the check arrives. If the date/meeting/whatever was going well and I wanted to see you again then yes, I would let you pay. I know next time I will insist on picking up the tab.

On the other hand if I know Im not interested in seeing that person again for any reason then I wouldnt want him to pay. I dont want him feeling used or something.

The worst is when you go on date and he has the whole evening planned and reservations and so on .. and within the first ten minutes your already thinking "uh, no" but me, I always feel a
obligated to hang out all night just so I dont ruin his night that he planned.

Not strange...True class to hang and finish the night for him...Several mistakes where make by my part during this short aquintance, that was one...I kinda wish they could be undone...it could have been fun...but will learn from the past...and move on.
