Let's take a hypothetical situation. Suppose you started seeing a provider before she ever even had a review on TER. You saw her three times and each time went very well. Then you couldn't contact her, i.e. she doesn't return your calls or e-mails. She is still advertising so she's still in the business. Finally you get one e-mail reply where she says she's been busy and to call her. You call but still get no reply. You e-mail and don't get a response that way, either, so it's not just playing phone tag. Seems to me that if she doesn't want to hear from you again, it would be a common courtesy to at least say so and to tell you why. What's your opinion on this? Guys or girls respond.

While I agree with you that the correct, proper and mature thing to do would be for the lady to shoot straight with the guy, think we all know better than to hold our breaths on this one. Some gals in this business are just plain flakes, always were and always will be. Others, while once seeming to have their shit together, get flaky over time for some set of reasons. Go figure..........  The good news is that there are plenty of ladies who are mature, respectful and professional in their behavior and those are the ones we should be doing business with. As was pointed out earlier, lots of fish in the sea. Let the guys know who the flakes are on this board so that they can be avoided and our business be directed to those more deserving.

Don't put up with that nonsense. There are plenty of great ladies around here that don't play games.

There are some very flaky people out there and you just can't expect much from them...except maybe games. Look for the ones who know how to be responsible and respectful, then reward them with your business and spread the word about them so others will see them. Stay away from the flakes and give others a heads up about them. They won't last long without everyone's business ;o)

Sometimes, you think that you are the most important person in the world, which you are, but not from the business perspective of the provider.  I learned not to take anything personal anymore and move on.  There is an emotional cost at being a hobbyist, but the flip side is that the everyday drama of a relationship does not exist.

Hi Mya,
The one reply I mentioned that I received was after asking her if she was pissed off at me for something. That's when she replied to say she had been busy and that I should call her. I called, but I have had no response since to either phone call or e-mail.

No, this isn't in reference to Kristen, although I have seen her once. I finally got to see Kristen after a lot of attempts and it was well worth it. Might try to see her again, but will know and expect the frustration ahead of time now.

The provider I'm referring to lives in Apache Junction and it seems so out of character for her to do this.

But thanks for the advice, Mya. Perhaps someday I should come and see you.

Hypothetically speaking, it would be nice for her to tell you why but she doesn't have to respond back to you no matter how many times you've seen her.  This is still a business after all and that's how you should treat it.  Your paying her to provide a service to you and not to be your friend...friendship is a perk.  Although, there is nothing wrong with feeling emotionally attached to someone that you have shared such intimate moments with the sad fact is you met via this hobby and a hobbiest/provider relationship is all that your going to have.  Don't take these nonreplies personal and just move on....don't dwell in the past live for now.
