It's late, finished my first set of exams, and now I'm looking for webdesigners.  I am noticing a lot of sites with very professional photos with the heads blurred out!!!  Does anyone see the injustice in this???  I UNDERSTAND the reason, but not the injustice. GORGEOUS bodies and.....no face. It is where I am inclined to reach for child hood memories of WARNER BROS with the "sexy female being revield inch by illustrious inch untill.....an ugly dog face resembling GOOFY!!!!"  (and partially where I'm playing "Devil's Advocate").   I know this isn't true of the providers who do this for personal reason, but it must be a real bitch for both providers and clients.  Thanks to sources like TER who can varify that someone also has a pretty face (and other such flattering or not so flattering information).  I guess the same can be said of someone having all the beauty, visible to the world, yet none of the personal depth, substance, or compassion and loving qualities.  Where do you stand on what matters to you most??  Does it vary from time to time?  What do you have to add?

as far as it being a datebreaker its not.but, i must admit i am prone to contact someone who's face i can see and i think most of the gents would agree.something about seeing the windows to the soul is a plus(at least for me).as far as the blurred head shots,i just think, whats the point?obviously its for thier privacy, but why have thier head in the photo to begin with?leave it out!(example, mystiques photos).fortunitly,i have never done a round with goofy..maybe a couple of french poodles..but never butt ugly..

but its not really a big deal...and you can always back channel pics via email once your comfortable. I've always felt the pro's were outwayed by the negatives. Potential issues with family, friends and SO's at a minimum and the harsher potential of custody and other nasty issues as well....after all in reality "Sedona" is a persona....not a person. But the harsh reality is the book will be judged by the cover all to often.

I for one must be very discreet as I am a Phoenix native and none of my friends and family are aware of my playful side.  PLUS I am now just 14 weeks away from finishing my MBA and will be sitting for the CPA exam.  I cannot show my face and risk being recognized.  Thus instead of blurring my face - I just don't show it.  I am not trying to "hide" it from our lovely gentlemen here but rather protect myself and those I play with who TOO need discretion.  But I appreciate your opinion but realize there is usually a good reason to "blur".

Thanks for reading.

I prefer to see the entire package including the face but I can understand some providers do not want to be recognized.May I suggest to replace the blurred face shot have a full photo of face and body but have provider turn around so her face is not visible but you can see her back, butt and legs. Then do your homework and check her reviews.

If you read my post again it states that I understand the reasons.

I blurred my face out for a year because I didn't want to be recognized because some people look down on this profession but I just unblurred my face because I decided I don't care what people think anymore.  If people I meet can't accept what I do then oh well...I will find people who like me for me.

Having to have my face blurred for personal reason I agree that it is a pain for all. I would love to show my face and admit it would make life so much easier when I have photos shot. Instead what I do is offer an unblurred pic once correspondence has occurred if someone is interested in one. After all it never hurts to ask.

On the positive side.....I don't have to worry about someone coming up to me during times when it might not be convenient, such as a personal trip to Mexico. *wink wink
