It is with great sadness that I must inform the client population that I will not be attending this event. I have been invited with the stipulation that I must cough up a $75 "house fee" in order to attend.
While I do not mind helping to cover the costs of the event I do feel that $75 is a bit overboard unless the event is being held in the banquet room at the Hyatt Regency or at a location of similar class and style.
Furthermore I do not feel like dishing out my hard earned cash to help promote the local agencies. I do my fair share of promoting the agencies with client referals. I would think that the local agencies would like to reward my efforts by covering the "house fee".

Club TLC, Desert Divas, Rose's Garden, Scottsdales Elite and AzMystique have gotten together and are hosting a thank you party to all our valued clients and all the new ones we have not met yet. Those that have seen companions from these agencies will receive a personal invitation to attend the event to be held on Tuesday, June 14, 2005 beginning at 6:00pm. When you receive your invitation you will need to RSVP to be admitted into the event. Details will be in your invitation as to location, etc. You may get multiple invitations if you are on more than one mailing list so please reply to only one agency. This event is our way of saying "Thank You" for all your support to our respective agencies.
For any that have not been a client of any of the mentioned agencies or did not receive your invitation but would like to attend the event you may send a email to [email protected] and receive information on how to be invited to the event. We invite all our not met yet friends to email us so you can make this exciting night. You may also email the agency of your choice for the same information if you like. We look forward to seeing all of you at the event where you will be able to meet all the fine companions from each of the respective agencies. Talk about starting the summer off right, here is your chance to do that and have some fun too. See you there.
It certainly is a good idea.I attended another party a few weeks ago, and it was a very nice meet,and greet. Apparently agencies are learning that it behooves all to promote business. I would certainly encourage all approved hobbyists to attend.
I only wish the independents would take the same approach, and organize a get together.A meet, and greet is fine with me. During the last party I was there mainly on a talent search, and nothing more. The women were beautiful, Angelina, MJ, Sedona, Kara, Tina, and many more. If it would take a small food, and beverage contribution by attendees, I would certainly kick in.

As you said this is a Agency Affair. In our quest to include anyone who wanted to participate, in our post we inidcated a email addy all could send a request to if they wanted to be invited or participate. With the cost of drinks and the other factors involved in what the agencies are doing for this event, should independents want to attend, they certainly could but in any business there is a cost associated with promotion. The $75 marketing fee proposed for any independent who wanted to attend, in our opinion, is a fair market price for the opportunity to meet lots of potential new clients. I am sorry you took that as a negative and did not see the value for yourself. Certainly, if you or other independents feel the way you do I think it would be great for you and other independents to do the same as the agencies are doing, reward your clients with a similar event. I have to believe your clients and any other clients of other independents would love to see that happen. I hope this puts a better perspective on the event for you.
