I am new to the board and I have seen that the providers want references.  What is the best way to go about getting references?
How do you get started?

Well it's hard to answer this question absolutely since each provider has her own screening method but I think a lot of providers will accept a Secret Keeper (see link below) reference in lou of a provider reference and that you can use with several differnt providers. Some providers will see you without a provider reference but you will have submit various personal information to be checked.

It's hard starting out I know. There was a series of ripp offs and assaults against providers this summmer so most providers have develped a screening method that they are sticking to pretty religiously.
