Click link below.  Interesting thing for a UTR provider to choose to do.

Ever since I met you, I have regarded you as a woman of intelligence and common sense (as well as incredibly sexy).

How Isabella thought her appearance on that show helped her or anybody else is beyond me. Is it me? Or did anybody else notice that Isabella looks much older in the Tyra show photo than in her own pics? Not that old is bad at all. Just an observation.

I don't know where she would or could even pull of the high $$$$$$$$ she asked for!

I wish I could find what I read a few months ago. Isabella wrote something quite lengthy after doing the taping for that show. It was interesting to read what a negative spin Tyra was trying to put on everything. I think every lady in Phoenix (myself included) was propositioned by The Tyra show to appear. I wouldn't be embarassed to appear and talk about what I am doing, but I wouldn't be the kind of person they would want on their show. I would not allow Tyra to mis-represent me, and I wouldn't allow it to air with a negative spin. That is not what they were looking for.

To each his own.

I was going to leave this one alone but in defense of MS Manelli I think her motives were to show the upside of our business but she should of known that those shows are very biased and onesided. As for the PIC I am sure they took the least flattering shot possible in order to make her look bad, she looked stressed out and sad as I am sure she felt that the show did not go the way they presented it to her.At this time all she can do is move forward and learn from this experience, We all have a bad PICs at one time or another and I am sure she will recover I only wish her well and hope to see her back on top of her game ........Victoria

you can be sure those shows aren't inviting their guests to help them promote themselves. They usually intend to use them to promote the show and don't mind manipulating people to do it. Even the best shows do that. That's show biz.

Ok then why is most of the focus on the picture and not on the content of the show Did anyone even see it?She cannot even defend herself as she is not on the TER boards anymore.I agree The show was a mistake but put yourself in her shoes its over and now its all about a not so flattering PIC how would you feel? I know how I would, not very good....

How did she think that appearing on a national TV show and especially with Tyra Banks would help her or any one else in this business. If Isablla has never been before a large audience before I could see why she could have panicked and look very stressful. I for one feel sorry for her for doing this and hope it doesn't stay with her for long.

to get in a Tiff with something that makes no difference to me one way or the other or about someone that thought she stood way beyond any of us!

Perhaps it doesn't do her or anyone else in this business any good for someone like Miss Manelli to go on a show like the Tyra Show...but how much good is done when no one in this business will at least attempt to show a side of things that aren't the standard movie of the week, crackwhore, street walker broken lives and abused women picture that is all that main stream media seems to portray?

When the only voices are those of the people against this business and the women and men involved in it?

When they can point and speak to the "shame" of those involved, when they get to use silence as consent or at least as agreement to their position that this is a bad industry, who benefits from that?

Maybe appearing wasn't the best decision she could have made (certainly not for herself considering that her appearance, rates, pictures and attitude is being critiqued here) but at least she didn't allow those that are against this industry to be the only ones speaking of it, at least she didn't let them appear to speak for her or anyone else...did it help?  who knows, but she did something.

Society at large isn't one day going to wake up realise this is a victim-less crime, realise keeping it illegal only allows the more serious "associated" crimes to flourish, and decide to decriminalise it...someone is going to have to show them, tell them, let them see the other side of things...maybe Miss Manelli didn't really do that...but maybe it can be a first step, maybe it can be part of the initial acts that will someday allow people to be less prejudiced against this business....if no one speaks up though, I can pretty much guarantee nothing will change...not for the better at least.

Tyra Banks show....Now if 100's of us really want to make a stand and do something then we shall do it together, but in a forum like maybe the Senate!Maybe a march to the white house????

I don't know the answer but it certainly will take all of us to work together.
Ask Dave of the list...he works dam hard but he can't do it alone.

Who wants to go with me?

I do believe that it would take several hundred men to get involved...I don't see that happening either!

I think WT's point is well taken.  I've had the honor and privilege of meeting several excellent Providers in the Valley, and I have yet to meet one who seemed to me to be abused, taken advantage of, or degraded in any way.  They have all been nice women who have decided to provide a service that our society says is illegal.  None of that makes them bad.  They're doing something for me, just as my doctor or dentist or barber does, and I'm paying them for the service.

Are there the sorts of Providers we see on Lifetime or The Movie of the Week?  I'm sure there are.  But, this is not the case for all of them... or even the majority of them in my, admittedly, limited experience.

You want to march to Washington to let them know that what goes on between consenting adults in private is a private act?  Let me know when and where.  I, for one, will be there.

it would get noticed, it would get air-time...
Of course those in Washington are elected representatives...so it is really what their constituants want (if for no other reason so they can get re-elected) that they will do...so it is the public opinion that has to be changed, and enlightened...and good or bad the general public watches things like Tyra and Oprah...

Well my experience though very limited was different.  Several of the women that I met have plenty of problems.  Drug abuse, abused as a child, abused by ex..among other issues.  Now maybe it was that I just looked in the wrong place and didn't select woman on the upper end of this hobby- but I can assure you some of these woman do not enjoy what they do and they are truly lost souls of a troubled childhood. Which does sadden me to see them with no other viable options but doing something they really don't want to do. But yes they are grown women and made a conscious decision to do what they do.    Let me be clear before the flames start- notice the words limited and some- I am sure there are plenty exceptions to this- just my "limited" experience.  How do I know this intimate info about them- well I got to know a few of them as a person/friends and was surprised on how open they were with me.  Stories that would rip your heart into pieces.

Remember piranhad- they are there to present an fantasy- what you see it not always what is reality.  I think men are pretty stupid when it comes down to telling the difference.  Which maybe isn't such a bad thing if you choose to be in the hobby.

With all that said- I do not judge what two consulting adults do- so I do not condemn it.  I can't change a bad childhood or the crappy hand someone was dealt in life.
