comfort level ?? SURVEY

I was just wondering this...
As a hobbiest do you prefer getting a massage at a local parlor or do you prefer a private residence? Some have told me they are uncomfortable with the massage parlor scene, and some have said they prefer the massage parlor. For those of you who answer my question, please let me know why you prefer one or the other (parlor or private residence)and what is you comfort level when choosing a MP. (how do you choose and what makes you feel comfortable personally with an MP)

Only problem with MPs is when you come out and walk to your car.

Personally I prefer the comfort and privacy of a residence. For me I feel a little embrassed walking into a parlor particually if it is daylight and there are people around but that is just me.  Good luck with your survey

I prefer a private residence....
Mostly because it seems safer.

For me personally, I like going to the provider's incall/parlor for the simple reason I live in a studio apt & I don't have a bedroom to go to. Even if I did have a bedroom, I would probably want to do the same. I don't want a lady comming over & saying: "Damn your place is messy." (not that it is, I hope). Also it's a reason to get out of the house.

Having visited several MPs and several residential based providers, I'm just going to thow this out there from my experiences as a "massage rookie" several years back and at the end, my current opinion.

If you're going in cold (no past experience), I think that an MP is safe in that you know what you're at least going to get.  And it's relatively inexpensive.  I think a lot of people that are just getting started in the hobby start off that way.  

I think the biggest fear at visiting an MP is having somebody that you know, who you'd rather not have that type of info, see you go in.  That is a constant.  Of course, there's the possibility of LE walking in and making a bust, while you're there too...

The biggest fears about going to a residence and it being an unknown, is that of LE, being upsold to death or that it's not the kind of service that you were looking for.

My personal preference?  Since learning about TER and other review sites to be able to know who is reputable, I'd prefer a residence.  You know who you're going to see and you know what the tab is and you're less likely to be raided or seen by somebody that you don't want to see you.
