Intresting ponder Victoria.

For me , I started mid 20's, almost exciting the hobby two yrs later ( I love sex and the exotic free world, So This is my expression zone, Will I ever fully ? But I have so many other things pulling me other places, And My son ( First I have spokn candid )Is the most amazing thing in this earth , And he comes first. Second school, Third my business ( Non hobby related ).So two years later, I imagine for any provider in this business it is a hard task to remain #1 interested #2 relevent #3 not to burn out.

Everyone has a certain women that they enjoy, and not everyones taste is the same. For me, I enjoy men over 40 . I have had a range of all clients, 30 to 87.

When do providers retire ? I say when they get tierd and or move on. Age shouldnt have anything to do with it. In my opinion, As long as THIS isnt your life and you enjoy life .. hell why not. I ( in my own HONEST OPINION ) find it sad when you see elder women soley depending on this world for rent money, and posting specials and showing thier tale for a hundred bucks. Get something out of this lifestyle, not just a phone bill payment. ( hell working at taco bell can do that )  As long as you keep it classy , and live and love your life how you want to , Why not.

We have all ages of providers here on TER  some have  been in the business most of their lives starting in their early 20's others like myself  were a late bloomer {mid  fortys} and some did not start until 50  and have been highly rated  gals and very beautiful  with great reviews ,,,,,,so I was curious as to  ageism  in the hobby  recently it  was pointed out I might be one of the oldest  but yet I have only 10 yr experience  for myself it was a life style  I chose as an adult....so my question is does age matter? If you have twice the experience as myself  yet are say 40  does it really matter when choosing a provider? My client range from 21 to 70+ AND ALL BRING SOMETHING NEW TO THE TABLE  I tend to get younger clients and clients in my age range ,,,,,so as provider and hobbiest do you have a cxut off on just how old you like you dates and why? Provider what is your  preference  and why? Someone once asked me when I would exit  this lifestyle and my flipp answer was I guess when the phone stops ringing , but the truth is  hobbiest are also aging and I find most {not all} enjoy being with someone that they can relate to  on a more mental level  I do get it as I too enjoy a younger man but would not want a steady diet of just that type as beautiful as they are  for me there is just something about a more seasoned man so my question to all of you when shopping to you have an age  cut-off and ladies how about you? It would help to know the age of the hobbiest and the provider  maybe a little survey would help  recently saw a gentleman ISO   an under 30 gal yet is now willing to book with an 40 something woman  kudos to him for expanding  his provider pool  thanks  in advance for any insight now its getting late and this old gal need to get some sleep......PS hope everyone had a nice time at the party  tonight I hear they  had a great turn-out!  would love to see some of the pics shared here......  oh to be young again  but honestly for myself  getting a late start was the best move for me!

I am surprised there has been no response from Hobbyists to this question, especially given the assumed “fantasy of the connubial 20 year old” that ALL men are alleged to harbor. Victoria’s question regarding “ageism” caused me to go back and “Review my Reviews.” Before doing so, I would have said that the very best experiences I have had were with Providers who were maybe “over 30,” but NOT necessarily “over 40.” Reviewing my Reviews gave me the opportunity to verify that belief.

It is probably important to understand that after taking a one year plus hiatus from “The Hobby,” I decided upon my return to ONLY see highly rated Ladies or very interesting “Newbies.” In doing so, I have a rather enviable share of published Performance “10’s!”

Because at my age (68) I have learned to keep impeccable records, I know that I have an additional (NOT published by TER) 20+ Reviews that were either “Unapproved” by TER or never submitted for publication, for a variety of reasons. Of those 20+ Unpublished Reviews, only two (10%) would have garnered “Performance 10’s.”

So for the purposes of analysis, I will deal only with those Ladies that garnered “Performance 10’s” in my Published Reviews:

         Of the 20 Performance “10’s” I have awarded in Published Reviews:

                   4 (20%) were to Ladies between 20 and 30

                   7 (35%) were to Ladies between 30 and 40

9 (45%) were to Ladies over 40

Not certain if the “Over 40 Ladies” are just subconsciously more appealing to me, because after I am attracted to a Provider’s photographs, I rely almost exclusively on their Performance Rankings in making my choices, with little or no consideration of age.  Regardless the reason, the “over 40 Ladies” certainly win the prize from me for stellar performance.

Maybe also important to note is that in almost four years in “The Hobby” I have had five different “ATF’s.” Upon Review, I realize that ALL five of those “ATF’s” were “Over 40” and only three of them received “Performance 10’s” from me.

Just one other possibly important observation regarding Victoria’s “Ageism” question. A scan of the Phoenix Top 100 TER Providers I believe will reveal that about 50% of The Top 20 are likely “over 40.”

As does hair color, body type, personality, sexual limits, etc.  

A hobbyist booking a half hour appointment is not looking for a mental connection with a mature woman he can relate to.  

I love reading about over 40 women who do this because they want to, not because they need to.   If they enjoy male company, enjoy sex, want to make some extra money- why the hell not?  I'd do it!  lol

If I was a 40+ provider, on my ads I'd stress the mental connection rather than emphasize the physical one.  None of us people over 40 look as good as when we were in our early 20's,  just a sad fact or maybe joke Mother Nature plays on us.  We get older and smarter but our physical attraction declines.  

As for cut off lines regarding age I personally don't have any.  Just depends on what I am seeking at the time.   If it's purely sexual relief I will probably go with the young pretty thing so I can enjoy her beauty.  If I need a woman I can relate to and converse with than it's the more mature one.

Thank you so much for sharing... it's so nice to see folks leading full lives.  All too often "adult" activities can consume entire lives and eclipse the beauty and awe of all the other "more subtle" wonders in life.

of an escort, I would say a TER escort lasts an average of five years. That's just a guess based on what I have seen of reviews over the years and also from websites. I'm sure that if you could compare the girls on Cityvibe now with those five years ago, you'd find just a few veterans. Of course, some girls could have gone UTR, but most have probably moved on to another career and possibly marriage.

As for when women start, that varies. Most women on the escort sites are in their 20s or early 30s. However, as has been pointed out, there has been a large increase in MILFs, probably because of economic reasons. That's not to say they don't enjoy it--I've heard that a woman's sexual peak is usually in her late 30s, on average. But I have been struck by how many college grads are in the hobby now, including young ones.

I find that he women who post on TER are usually those who really like what they are doing; and while they may have entered the profession for financial reasons, they are that lucky few who really like what they do. It's always a pleasure to do business with someone who likes her job, but I think you are the fortunate few. And we are fortunate for knowing you all!

YIKES  5 yrs  I've stayed too long at the party !!!! I do disagree  though  there are some 40 something providers here  that have been active long before TER  was on the radar  I know a few...and another interesting fact in the 8yrs I have been around TER  the womens profiles never seem to age they were 30-35 back then and still are kinda  like peter Pan  in Never  Never Land  women are funny about aging in any business  but especially this one ...what is really funny is when a young provider of 23 or so  list herself as 18-20  not knowing most experienced hobbiest want a  little older woman" than their daughters.......no worries for me there LOL  for some I can me their  mothers LOL

I have been around forever and still loving it. I started late in life so didn't have to worry about kids being home sick from school, babysitters, etc.  I could certainly retire, but every time I am about too, I get the great sessions that convince me I am not ready to quit just yet.  Age works in my favor as I appeal to those who prefer older, more experienced women.

Great thoughts Victoria! Since I'm older than you, I'll admit I'm biased, but I love the full experience that comes with spending time with a vibrant, intelligent, sexy woman who has learned how to please and almost more important, how to accept and enjoy being pleased herself. That is usually enhanced with age and experience. So does the ability to carry on a conversation and have interests in many areas, which makes the date so much more than a quick romp in sheets. I don't have any set age limits, but I am most drawn to women in their mid 30s and older. On the upper end, one of my current ATFs is a gorgeous lady in her early 50s. If someone looks as good as her (or you!) and has good reviews, then age doesn't enter the equation other than a likely indicator that she has those qualities mentioned above, and probably has those great reviews more because she really does enjoy what she's doing rather than is just a great actress. (Not that I'm so naive as to think acting isn't always a possibility to some extent, but that is also a talent that gets honed with experience - lol!) I say as long as your phone keeps ringing and you are still enjoying yourself, then don't stop!

Victoria, I won't disagree with you that some providers have been around a long time. That's why I said the average is about five years. A lot of women do this for a short time, then bail out when they can. As far as the profiles never aging, well, both men and women can be guilty of pretending that they are younger than they are. Just look at profiles on dating websites. I know I've been guilty of using old photos. As for you staying too long at the party, that's simply not true. Rather, you're above average in a very good way. And while men usually put a premium on youth, a lot of them understand that a beautiful mature woman can be more satisfying.

I think about this often.

In my mind I am in my early 20's so I am attracted to that age.

A woman my own age seems like my mom or older sister.

However, I am finding that I do not like the 20 something caviler attitude about scheduling and such....while I feel like I am 20ish, my schedule is 40ish and I don't like to be kept waiting or to be cancelled on.

In reality I look at pictures.  I am very visual and the attraction starts there.  I have had the unfortunate luck of walking into many situations where pictures were less than accurate, at best.  Many times I find myself clicking into reviews of women that are my age and older and never would have guessed.....I still have not taken the plunge with someone older then me....close...but not yet.
