The last thing I want to be known for is not returning calls. I am afraid to call anyone back so will text but really don't like that either. If he doesn't say in his message to call him back, I won't text or call. Sometimes I can't answer my phone for hours at time. Have learned something valuable though - try to specify times in my ad but as Bailey says, most don't abide by it anyways. Thanks for all the responses.

If you are not calling people back, then you are in fact ignoring your prospective clients, and you will get labeled as someone who doesn't return calls, because it is a factual statement.
My time is valuable too, and it is a waste of my time if I have to call or email the same provider multiple times in order to get some kind of reply. Aside from that, it leaves me with a bad first impression. Accordingly, I leave one message or email, if I get no reply, I don't contact the provider a second time. It is just faster and easier to contact someone else at that point.
If you are busy, all you have to do is text/email a reply at a later time to say you got the message, and you will get back to me later, or something like that. Or call/email back the next day. If you don't even do that, then I will never be your client, and my money is just going to be spent with your competitors instead.

Are you hobbyists willing to wait to see a provider who has only 3 days a week availability, especially when it is Fri, Sat and Sun?
Are there providers out there with limited availability and has it decreased business? I get alot of calls but can't answer sometimes for hours so I don't call back. Often wondered if hobbyists understand this, that I am not ignoring them, since I don't want to labeled as one who doesn't return calls.
