What should I do if someone copied my pictures and put a different name under them?... The name of the site is redbook and they took my pictures and she is calling herself sexy lexy... and I believe it is an agency.. How can I get my pictures removed?.. There is no contact number for this website.. I am so upset... I want my pictures removed at once..... its under a cheezy ad... that is very bad news.... Can anyone suggest how I can get this site to remove my pictures that this woman stole? Any help would be greatly appreciated... Sincerely, Brooke
they have some congressional authority to regulate web sites. . .there are some tools to look up who hosts sites and then you can backtrack from there.
The pictures have indeed been removed... my photographer owned the copyright to them and he emailed the site and they removed them... so if anyone has their pictures professionally done there is a law under the owner of the copyright of the pictures and they have to remove them.. Dreamshotz.. Bruce.. owns the copyright he was a big help in removing them for me... And yes to having lunch sometime soon.. I would enjoy that very much!.. Thanks to Mystique for helping out as well.. Sincerely, Brooke
Glad it was resolved! in the future, consider superimposing/watermarking your name and website on the photo, and it will only be free advertising for you.
Second, most webboards have a 'fraud' alert section that if you go in and post the 'fraud' it will quickly take care of itself.
I'll be in Phoenix myself next month on biz for the first time ever....very much looking forward to it, and maybe I'll be lucky enough to meet you while I'm there!
