Hi gang,

I'd like to get your opinion about a provider who posts client personal information (i.e., the client's email address) on a hobbyist/provider internet bulletin board (anyone can join the board) when they didn't call or show up to an appointment.

I can understand being pissed for a NC/NS client...but, I have a hard time not being angry with a provider who violates one of what I consider the "Cardinal Rules" (in my opininon) of hobbying.

Thanks for your opinion...!

no guy should ever know he's blacklisted nor should he know who put him there.

she's asking for trouble.

What would you do if she NC/NS.   Not that I am defending her...because every board I post on has a provider only section and thats where I would go to blacklist someone, but assuming that this particular board doesnt, what should she do? in your opinion?

First of all, just to make it clear...this didn't happen to me.

If *she* was NC/NS, and subsequent calls to her were ignored, I'd take a hint and believe that for some reason she changed her mind about seeing me. I believe providers have a right to see anyone they wish and change their mind if they wish...but, I also think manners dictate some sort of communication.

I believe an instance of NC/NS for a client deserves exploration by the provider as to why but on a 1 to 1 basis. Granted, there is more to lose by the provider since she depends on that activity and had planned for it. NC/NS sucks for sure but I don't think it deserves an outing.

Bottom line, and as one other poster said, I don't think a hobbyist should be outed unless he is dangerous, or in some other way is being a total frikkin' a**hole.

In the case I referred to, neither of those situations (dangerous or a**hole) appeared to be present. It was just an NC/NS, and this guy was outed on the board by the provider posting his email address.

when i first started, 75% of my appointments were ncns.  enough to make a person crazy.

it takes time to learn how to spot the timewasters. she may benefit from someone explaining to her that outing clients for ncns is akin to career suicide since its a breach of confidentiality.  not only that but she is also compromising her own safety since sooner or later one of these guys is going to do something in retaliation.

she might just need to be taught the appropriate places to report unsavory clients and chronic timewasters and the ways to spot them early on so that she doesnt schedule as many of them.

i doubt she is a mean, horrible or dangerous person but more likely she is frustrated and just needs someone to show her the proper way to handle things. before outing her, you might advise her to email me [email protected] and give her a chance to change.

there are ways to reduce the # of ncns as mine is now down to less than 5%. unfortunately this is her way of deterring them because she doesnt know yet how to identify them prior to scheduling.

if it is just you email address she is posting.  Which I assume you would not use your regular home or work email address for contacting escorts.  I have a hotmail account just for this purpose.  She should not have any real personal info anyway, besides possibly your phone number.
Is it just an anonymous email account of yours she is posting there?

personally im not upset at posting an email. however if the lady in question is that indiscreet then the hobbying community should know.
its one thing to hang a psycho or thief out to dry. its another thing again because they got cold feet or had something come up.

cc308, it wasn't my email she posted...it was another board member's.

Granted, hobbyists should have a private email account, but that's not the point -- how would the provider know it was a potential client's private email account, or his *real* one?

The point is that in my opinion she should have known not to post such info on a publicly-accessible board, period.

Thanks for weighing in!

Ana, thanks for your message and offer...but, I've asked the board admin to delete my account and profile there. This episode spooked me enough to just cut and run. In my opinion the board admin should have taken positive steps with the provider but strangely none were. So, I decided to just not use the board.

Info only...the board in question is not in AZ, but I respect the opinion of the very active commnunity in PHX and surrounding AZ areas. I consider those who post here regularly as information experts!! :D

moebius, thanks for the offer...but, I've messaged the board admin to delete my account and profile. This all went down outside of AZ, so you folks don't have to worry that it may be close to home.

Thanks for your valued opinion and offer! PHX board folks are the best!!

Your point is well taken, she should not be posting this info.  My only point was it is the hobbiest's responsibilty to not be put in the position inb the first place.  Nothing against any particular provider, but in general personal info should not be given to escorts.
