Congrats on going indy :) I think you'll enjoy your newfound freedom of choice immensely.  

As for the guy who flaked on you...Did he outright NCNS you? Did he fail to communicate with you the day of the appointment or fail to confirm one last time before you headed over to his hotel? Or did he contact you and say that he cannot meet after all? I'm under the impression that he gave you his hotel room # the previous day, which shows that he was serious (at one point) about meeting you. IF he canceled with you prior to the appointment then he is not at fault, although I would be very hesitant to allow him to schedule again. Keep record of who disrespects your time. If he didn't communicate with you at all (butt dialing doesnt count lol), then I would give him a few days to explain himself and his flakey behavior.  

 I had a P411 guy confirm with me ONE HOUR prior to our appointment (he knew I had just booked the room), and then he canceled 30mins before the appointment. He said he "cut himself on accident". He was supposed to reimburse me the hotel fee via P411 gift points and he never did. What he did to me is blacklist worthy and I'm seriously considering blacklisting him. I wonder if it's the same guy you're talking about lol He might be a serial NCNS-er! Some guys get a kick out of wasting our time.  

You can report him to admin on P411 but they aren't responsible for NCNS or cancelations. Did you screen him yourself? Don't ever, ever assume a guy is safe just because he has p411 membership. Go to his OK list and contact every single girl he has seen. Find out for yourself if he is safe and legit. This is very important! Have you applied for entry to the Provider's Only board, here on TER? Now that you are on your own, having access to that board will help you tremendously. It will also allow you to spread word to other providers about shitheads who NCNS. I noticed that your reviews are not linked to your handle. Contact admin and ask them to link your reviews from your old handle to your new handle. You won't be able to apply to the Provider's Only board if your reviews are not linked to your new name. Who books a girl a week or two in advance and come the day of the appointment, asks to reschedule it to the next day. And then when the next day comes and It's time for our meeting you blow the girl off?!  

This guy booked me on p411 so he is pre screened right? Idk what I should do... Still go to his hotel room or leave

That a person is not capable of being selfish, inconsiderate, or ill mannered at times, whether client or provider.  And that  is the type of person that flakes out like that.  

It's just a hazard of the business for both parties; and it always sucks when it happens.

But to top off everything with said hobbyist, he butt dialed me at 5 a.m. This morning! So not what I wanted to wake up to this morning lol

I hope things go well for you. The truth is that you will be putting up with all sorts of shit that you may not have seen before if someone else was doing your booking/screening.

Sometimes I'm embarrassed by what little shits other men can be in the hobby. At the same time, there are plenty of women pulling the same garbage. It's not all easy, friendly, nice and clean, like it may seem from  the people on discussion boards or banded together in local "communities."

I drove all the way out to his hotel. he had given me the hotel address and room number the day before since that was when our original apt was but he decided to reschedule it to the next day. I had spoken to him the day of the appointment and we were good to go. so even though he wasn't responding to my calls 15mins before our apt I went to his door and could hear the TV on. I knocked and knocked and called but he had turned his phone off at that point and then turned the TV off so after 5 minutes of standing there looking like an idiot I ended up leaving. The reason that I am so upset about this is because I paid the babysitter 2 days in a row and got blown off both days I paid my taxi for hauling me around and its just a lot of money to waste because somebody wanted to Dick me around!

You mean he turned the TV off while you were standing outside the door? What a Dick. Don't make since why someone would do this . unless As Akiya said he gets off wasting your time and money. I don't foresee how he could possibly have a sensible excuse. I think you should put the word out on this fool . BTW Did you check with his references on P-411? I am just wondering if he done this to others.

Perhaps you can arrange with people that you will call just before leaving to confirm you are both on schedule? No answer, you don't leave.

All that a P411 membership means is that the guy paid the yearly fee and was screened either by employment or provider references. So it doesn't necessarily mean he has a good track record with keeping appointments.

As a client I have been flaked on by even some of the well-reviewed providers, so I can understand the dilemma you're in.

Sadly I had to cancel an appointment with Jordan Kay cause my family in Colorado need some help moving livestock during the flooding. I had to cancel a hour before hand. It sucks cause I had to cancel. It happens but if he didn't reply to your concerns than that is bad. Hopefully this doesn't discourage you too much. It happens once in a while. Hopefully you enjoy the independent scene.

If he doesn't tell him you're going out him on TER, P-411 and any other site your affiliated with.

Hey Miss... Men are jerks, but so are women.  So many girls (especially in Las Vegas) flake on clients.  It is just rude.  However, sometimes there are legit issues that arise.  This is the nature of the biz, so I would say to just get used to it.  Now you know not to book him again if he tries.  ~jenny
