eaten there a few times, the view at night is pretty. as far as kids go- I've never had an issue while there,  I think they just put that because it's really a family-type restaurant and they have a slide that you can take on the way down to the food floor.

Can anyone give me an opinion on this restaurant???  Any info is appreciated.

Now, the site say's kid friendly, when I'm eating out I'm not wild about kids unless they are well behaved.

Thanks,
Bordello

Thank you so much Miss Tina,

Have you ever been to "Top of the Rock"???  How do they compare???

Thanks for any help,
Hope to see ya soon,

Top of the Rock is fine dining.  Rustler's Roost is a steakhouse that has sawdust on the floor and country music played by the Peso Dollar Band.  (He actually once ran for Sheriff!)

Top of the Rock will have no children - very good service, a nice view of the valley, reasonable food - but in my view over-priced for what you get.

Rustlers Roost will have kids - is a sawdust-on-the-floor, wait staff dressed like cowboys and cowgirls, western steakhouse, Arizona for tourism place.

If you want fine dining and a great view, Different Pointe of View at the Pointe Hilton Tapatio Cliffs Resort is my recommendation.

If you don't care about a great view, and you are at the south end of the valley, then Kai Restaurant at the Sheraton Wild Horse Pass Resort is excellent.

Thank you for your input. I try not to post O.T. very much but the forum is a wealth of information about the valley.

It was new and unique for me. All you can eat of 15 varieties of steak delivered non stop to your table until your sated. I thought it was pretty good. Some cuts I savored more than others but I'll definitely revisit.

Thanks for sharing.  I most certainly enjoy hearing about things happening in Phx.  But be careful the alias Notenji doesn't like us to talk about restuarants.  I guess it is because they don't have a life other than sex.

Again, thank for sharing and contributing to the board.

AZ Misty lighten up.  I love restaurants and the next time I get to Phoenix I have some new ones to sample now thanks to the info here. Don't assume you know anything about me.  You know what they say when you assume.  Please do me the courtesy of spelling my alias right.  Thanks.

Let's get some facts:

1.  you did put me down in the previous post about me posting about restaurants
2.  I cut & pasted your alias so it IS spelled correctly
3.  I don't have to HIDE behind an alias
4.  I don't want to know anything about you - but I do know YOU HAVE AND DID SLAM ME.

AZ Misty maybe in your world N-o-t-e-n-j-i is spelled the same as N-o-t-e-n-t-j but not in mine.  Some relaxation exercises might help you lighten up and develop a sense of humor.

She most certainly DID spell your alias correctly
and you do tend to poke her with a stick every time you get a chance.
What is up with that?
At least she is posting and since the top 10 poster on this board last I looked only had 14 posts I would say this board could use a little life in it.
How about  you try to get along with the other children before I have to send you to time out ?

Top of the Rock without question, everything is great there, the view, the food and the music and atmosphere..class top notch
on the subject of Rustler Roost, I ate there years ago and it was the worst steak and I even had argue with management about the fatty steak and still had to pay for it.they were awful but they may have changed but I wont go back

The Stock Yards is also a great steak eatery and lots of history of Phx on the walls...
enjoy where ever you go!
Terri

IF it is still in the restaurant ... stay away from the slide between floors ... a main attraction for kids & noise.

Top of the Rock ... great place!!

Both have great views, which few places in Phoenix seem to take advantage of.

the food is great but it is geared more towards family fun.

You can cum to

Bistro Followme.

Serving

Toss salad………optional

Perhaps some tender loin , not a large one, with a side of tongue

And finish with some banana cream and a second cup of coffee, or a third if you wish to linger longer.
