Interesting article highlights a vulnerability few of us think about. When you use text messaging, you should be just as careful what you say as when speaking in a public place. Abbreviations and code words, rather than explicit language, will help assure that your text messages don't become "People's Exhibit Number One"!
Very interesting. I have heard that Ft. Huachuca is an intelligence base and they listen in one tons of cell phone calls for "code words" somehow, trying to catch terrorists.
If they can do that and track down text messages, no one is really "safe" from being caught if they are up to something. I would think that to actually pursue via evidence from screening cell phone conversations for code words, it would have to be fairly evident that the individual was in on something to possibly hurt others in our country, but the after-the-fact gathering of evidence is scary.
I guess you can't be too careful, yet being overly paranoid is so awful to see someone be. lol
