Worst date I ever had was at the Scottsdale Melting Pot.  Had nothing to do with the place, that was great....  The company, not so much.... :)

Sorry for asking about restaurants again but I was just informed that the girls think they would like to go to the Melting Pot.  There is one in Scottsdale and one in Ahwatukee.

Has anyone been to either one????  Any info is appreciated.

Thanks so much,

Bordello

Hi Kelly,
All of the replies add up to a great place, I will leave it up to the two girls.

Thanks,
Bordello

Been there on romantic evenings for two, been there with the kids, and been there with a large group of friends and family.

It's very versatile... I had very memorable (and different) experiences every time I've gone.

And the food is always sinfully delicious!!

Thanks for helping, so far this is sounding like a fine place.

But seriously, the Melting Pot is pretty good. They are both pretty much the same, but I would call ahead to each location and see what the wait for each place is. They are popular and they tend to become crowded. Being a native of Scottsdale, I am partial to the Scottsdale location; but if you are closer to the Ahwatukee location, then that would also be a good place to go.

Reservations are a must as I don't like a long wait, even when I can get drinks.  LOL

Thanks,
Bordello

Sorry to hear the date was not good but thanks for letting me know you like the restaurant.

My Best,
Bordello

but it's fairly pricey considering you're cooking some of your own food!  Inside, they're very similar.

For an interesting twist, down in 'Tukee, you might try Fogo e Brasa.  It's a Brazilian restaurant featuring all-you-can-eat skewer-cooked prime meats of all kinds and a huge hot/cold food buffet.  If your guests are hearty eaters, they'll love the place.  It's a little less formal than Melting Pot, but still good for a date.

Thanks, I will add that one in to the girls options, look like a great place to eat for us meat lovers.
