for some unknown reason my website disappeared.  I am sure it has something to do with the retard that designed it and then stopped paying for his server.  

Either way, I was just as shocked as many of y'all that have written me to inquire about it's disappearance.

so, here's the question I have;  Besides homestead and wordpress, does anyone know of a great web building program I can either purchase from a store or download to my pc?  I still own my domain name, so I can still post my own site, but I gotta tell ya - after all the $$ I spent with that webdesigning fool, I was deeply disappointed in him.

Any information would be greatly appreciated!

..here's one of the more highly rated "Do It Yourself" Programs.  I recently got it for a project I'm working on, but I just haven't had the time to really get into it as yet.  

I can understand how you'd like to be more in control of your site.  Of course, you'll obviously still need a "host server" to place your site.  I'm sure some of the other ladies can assist you with that.

I am pretty tech savvy.  I have had several ideas quite a few will work for me, I appreciate the suggestions.

As for outing the person?  What would be the point, his emails are bouncing and phone no longer works.  Obviously he has left this side of his world.  

I will probably go with godaddy, or build something utilizing my adobe software and upload it to my host - which I already have.

An older provider out there speculating as to why my site went down.  Aside from speculating amongst her little group of hens, she shot her mouth off to several web designers so they could solicit my business.  

Of course, the information she said was waaay off base, but hey - that's why she's retarded!

In this business being self sufficient is the best and safest way to proceed. In this business marketing is the key.

Personally, the Sheika likes a minimalist approach to marketing and web design. Too many sites have too much “fluff”. The “fluff” distracts from the lady.

Well the only thing I can deduce is that evenn when someone is banned they can still read the posts. She had even come up with a reason why my site disappeared.  

Oh well, such is the way of life. Crazy attitudes seem to coming out like crazy!  LOL

may be a little more understood.  He charged $ 900.  The actual publishing of my site was delayed by months to start.  Once it was up and running I was OK with it, but could never get answers to my questions about how to create my own photo gallery and the such.  The site was a wordpress based site.

I paid a stupid amount of money for something that was up for less than a year.  It appears, after speaking to wordpress about this matter that it was the web designer who defaulted on his bill, not any fault of mine.

So, I will be rebuilding my site when I have time.  I have been a busy busy bee and enjoying myself lately with some of the groovy new and existing gents that I am spending time with.

they all have one thing in common... the guy always solicits the girl.

never pay a guy who comes to you and offers his services.. if he was any good, he wouldnt have to solicit your business.

isn't 900 quite cheap for a website? if he designed the site in wordpress.. maybe it is but isn't that amount equivalent to 3 hours of your service. the site was up for 9 months with 3 hours of your service.. didn't you get atleast 3 clients based off your site? this is what happens when escorts talk business with nothing but a high school diploma.

The content of your site should be backed up on a disc.  This way, if the hosting or domain is shut off, you can easily just upload the content to another host.

Specifically ask your "web designer" that this be done.  And, of course, whenever changes are made to the site you need another backup.

You already seem to be smart enough to have ownership of your domain name.  That's another thing that people seem to out source to "web designers".  If you didn't own it, you would have lost that in this incident also.

On another note, most providers don't need sophisticated (expensive) websites.  Put you money in great photos and you could even use one of those free web building sites.  That's just my opinion.

You're funny.  To answer your question, not really.  There are many cool websites in the Valley that were designed for about $ 350 to $ 500.  I went with this fellow based on the recomendation of a fellow provider.  

No one can find this guy, but it's all good.  Whomever you are, you are not very credible with your little harassment!  LOL, fool.

so as long as you get 200 clients over the course of the next year.......  (and lets be honest here, even if you are butt ass ugly with hairy nipples, no teeth and a funky case of crotch rot, you should be able to book 200 out of 365 days) .... it would be worth it to you if you paid $40k for that site.

well right now im in the middle of real monster volunteer project for a non-profit organization and it'll keep me pretty busy for a while so that'll give us time to decide if we want to work together.

since, at that price, you're actually getting it for nothing cuz you're gonna make the $40k RIGHT BACK, i want to make sure you're worth it before i just practically GIVE it away.
