Finished a car date and I headed over to the car wash known as the "Sparklin' Clean Car Wash" on Indian School Road and 107th Avenue. I like to vacuum out my vehicle after a date to keep it clean. However, two homeless individuals were there. Usually a black guy is always there, but this time a white homeless guy was there also. The black guy asked me if I worked at the hospital and could hook him up with drugs. Then the white homeless guy offered me some vacuum tokens. I took them if there are free, why not? He then gave me three tokens and I started vacuuming. Then he started circling my car and finally I looked up so he started talking to me about asking if I was high, and if I could get him anything or needed to buy any products from him. Then I gave him one of the tokens back in exchange for him standing over away from me so could concentrate on cleaning. Hopefully they can clean up the riffraff at this Car Wash at least maybe put a trespassing sign up for people loitering.
Good to see you on the W side. I know one person that I like in that area, doubt she does car dates..Glad you vacced out the car after the date and not before. Thats good time management.
Mcdowell and 44th Street: Free Vacuums at the car wash behind Chevron. Older homeless gentleman living at the car wash at night. Mostly harmless, but avoid stepping in any puddles especially if it is not raining as it is likely urine from the homeless man.
35th Ave and Dunlap: Homeless encampment sometimes with tents at the car wash which has 24 hour free vacuums. Many crazy types live at this car wash so watch your back while vacuuming to make sure no homeless dudes sneek up behind you.
Scottsdale Car wash on McDowell and Miller next to Dennys: This vacuum was peaceful yet charged $1. However this car wash has been completely demolished and replaced with an apartment complex. Alternative vacuum to divert to is the Circle K on McDowell a mile east of Hayden. However, they recently enacted a "no restroom" policy after 9 p.m. due to restroom abuse. $1.50 for 6 minutes and accepts debit card. Plus air compressor with electronic psi.
