I'm sorry, but if you make arrangements to take a lovely lady to dinner and don't have the decency to let her know you won't make it, you are a JERK.

I am sick of providers standing me up! and not following through. Many are amazing but the ones that screw with my time piss me off!  Just as when clients mess with providers time should piss them off!! Seems we all should be adult (too much to ask for?), if you can not make it, let the other party know ASAP!  Come on!!

I say he still owes you for not contacting you when know he was sick.
Only excuse he has is if he was dead or in the hospital.

Yeah, I encounter this guy every so often (with a different face each time). He has zero respect for us ladies or what we do, probably married, and wonders why the wife won't...

Though, it's ironic to get burned as we display compassion in making up for lost time that wasn't even our fault (i.e. the FIRST time he wasn't feeling well... you didn't HAVE to offer your free time to attain a sense of fairness unto his situation, but you DID because you're a good person)...

I'm beyond empathetic of this happening to you... we never do reach a point when it no longer affects us, huh?  

I hope you seek closure in at least politely, but firmly telling him how this made you feel, and the loss you endured of another missed opportunity that would have FINANCIALLY compensated you, for your otherwise wasted time. Sometimes when the wives don't train them on how to treat people, WE have to.
