While it goes without saying that some of the ladies are not especially good at following up, the vast majority of the ladies are IMHO. Got to remember boys that these gals are not sitting by their phone waiting for you to call. Indeed, been with a number of the gals in social settings where their phone doesn't stop ringing with one call after another. If it were me, I'd have to throw my phone in the toilet becuase of the annoyance. No reason for any lady not to get back to a caller within a reasonable period of time, but just keep in mind that you may be somewhere down on their list of callers to get back to considering the number they received before you. To avaoid some of the frustration, always have a plan B in mind if you have a short window of opportunity to play.

Hey Guys,
I tried to set up two appointments this week with no success. Had confirmed times and dates from both Kristin and Demi (seperate appointments) and both were no show no call. Can't they call to say sorry? Is that too much to ask? Anybody else had similar issues with either of these providers? Feel free to PM me.

These two women have real personal problems. I gave up on even trying to see Kristen. Save your time and spend your money elsewhere.

No reviews.  No websites.  No recommendations.  Were you planning on taking two for the team?

And WTF does "welcome to Phoenix" mean?  A visit to Glen's site will lead you to more great experiences than you can handle (or afford).  Use your big heads and stick with our plethora of reputable providers, and your chances of such problems will almost disappear.  (And btw, you should send an email to Glen to point out your problems with Demi, and that her website link is dead.)

Realy not that surprising. With a few exceptions, most of the indys in PHX do not return calls. You are better off using one of the reputable agencies. So much easier to schedule an appointment and a lot less hassle.

Getting back to someone in a reasonable amount of time is one thing but setting a date and time and not following through is another. The two providers set the times and dates. Should a guy double book in case one backs out?

At last count (on www.phx411.net, which is not even all of them) there are 48+ indies in this town.  You've had over 24 of them not return calls?  Sorry, but I'm calling BS.

It is amazing how many guys send an email or leave a voicemail for a provider they've never seen before, asking for a same-day appointment, and then file the lady under "unresponsive" when they don't get an answer.  Obviously I don't know your circumstances, but guys who plan a day or two ahead rarely report those problems with the reputable (e.g. phoenix411) providers in this town.

THANK YOU! Seriously, if I had $350 for every guy who called me and wanted to see me RIGHTNOW, I'd be wealthy enough to retire. SOME of us check references, I mean REALLY check references, and that's why we're not as easily accommodating as agencies. Many DON'T check references, that is common knowledge.

Also, on my voicemail it specifically says, "Please leave your name, number and the BEST TIME TO CALL YOU BACK." If you don't leave that information, I do not call back because I don't want to get your wife, girlfriend, brother, boss, dog sitter, you at a bad time. I'm not a telemarketer, I'm a provider and my number two concern after my safety is your privacy and discretion. Honestly, what OC said is exactly right: Plan a couple days in advance, have your reference information available when you call, and if you must leave a message, leave a time to call back. Even if you say, "Between 12pm and 5pm today and 8am and 2pm tomorrow, Tuesday." that will get you a call back. You leave a message saying, "Hey it's Sam, call me at blah blah blah, can't wait." I won't return your call. I don't want to meet your wife over the phone.

Okay, off the soap box, breathing. OC, you rule.

Sometimes when calling from a cell phone and leaving a message, If your cell coverage is not at its peak, inevitably when leaving your phone number- your phone will cut out and all we hear is 555-3**-***1

English a second language issue???-- the guy had appointments--the girls did NOT show, did not call.
It's not all the nonsense that most of these posts were about...girls too busy to return the call....same day appt requests, etc.
My view: No show, no call should be posted every time!

that ASU is considering revoking both of my degrees.  (You'd think I graduated from U of A!)

But seriously, my first constructive contribution was in response to AZRover's no-show/no-call issue.  My second referred to the broader statement by Proman that "most" independents in Phoenix don't return calls.  

I agree with your final point about posting no-show, no call experiences.  That is one of the purposes of this local board.  The only problem with that is, if your TER handle (or your alias) does not allow the provider to recognize you, then she's at a disadvantage for defending herself.  One thing we see here is that there are often two sides to a story, and an accusation of no-call/no-show from a name she doesn't recognize might be a bit unfair.

Kristen is on Tman's list and has a web site and pix.  I have seen her 3 times, is quite popular and admits she has a need for a screener/secretary.  I also know she is going through some personal hassles right now (she didn't respond to my latest e-mails, which concerns me).
No shows, cancelled appointments are part of the experience in all cities.  My advice is to try again, or move on.

Very wise advice RElawguy.. I personal have just gone through the same thing with a gal in the Twin Cities.. My advice is to wait for her to call and if she doesn't just move on.. remember your time is money... at least all your out is your time.. I lost money on the deal.... if she wants to talk to you she will!
