I had just earned 100,000 Alaska Airline miles in anticipation of scheduling an epic pooning trip on an A380 in first class routing through Dubai to Germany.  All of a sudden, today without any pre-warning Alaska Airlines devalued their miles and now it will require 150,000 miles for first class!!!  Everyone should boycott Alaska Airlines until they fix this and put back the old award booking chart!!  
   
 Alaska Airlines are Indian givers!  More like Eskimo Indian givers!!!

And Delta and United have made devaluation changes as well....

I have enough for two tickets for my Rio De Janeiro trip planned outside of the current booking window, but now I'll have to earn more.

I can relate to your frustration with Alaska Air.

A significant majority of the FF changes are negative to the frequent flyers....
