I've been a hobbist member here on TER since 2004.  And as you can see, I haven't written many reviews.  I'm also a member of Date Check.  Almost all of the 100+ providers I've seen have retired.  It's been about a year since I've seen anyone (Heather J, Sheridan, Tobie, Selena).  I had been whitelisted once on TER by an amazing Phoenix agency that is now no longer in business - so that's been removed.  So with no recent references, I'm basically a newbie, again.  I would appreciate advice from any providers.  Thanks.

I was kind of in that boat after I had laid low for a while. I'm not an expert, seems like at least a couple of the ladies you mentioned are still active - would they recall you, at least enough set up another visit?

If not - there are always ways - there are a few reputable newbie-friendly ladies... if you are wiling to provide a little more info, employer? are you google-able, etc.?

Just a thought.

Can someone please explain to me why a hobbyist having a job is so important in screening and why so many providers do it? Having a job doesn't mean he's safe serial killers, rapists and the normal run of the mill nutcases are gainfully employed.

I always hear providers say "well if he does something bad, I know who he is and where he works"........well honey that's not going to help you if you're dead in a ditch somewhere now is it.

Same with googling his name, if it really is his real name, again what good does that do you  knowing his personal information? Are you going to harrass him, are you going to tell everyone he see's providers, guess what honey that could land you in that same ditch dead.

Screening for LE this way is just as useless, If he's LE of course his info is going to be fake......HELLO!! The only way I know of for the safest screening possible is straight from the mouth of at least two providers stating, yes she's seen him and yes he's safe.

Paperboy yes you were right in the thread below, I say it all the time 80% of Phx ladies do not screen, they say they do, but they don't. I thank fucking god the clients that see me, see the same few ladies that do screen and we give each other references all the time.

My life has far more value than any amount of money, I screen because I don't want to end up dead in a ditch somewhere or explaining to the police why a man was seen crawling out of my apartment bloody and beaten.

This is something that needs to be taken seriously, one day something horrific is going to happen to a well known lady here in the valley all because she didn't screen properly.

I never did understand the work thing ... but the again I'm self-employed and don't have a way to verify that.

References are still the best way to know what you're getting into (or whom is getting into you! LOL).

I love TER & would condider a whitelist from a reputable provider to be a personal vouch for you!

I screen EVERY CLIENT. Each and every one. I refuse clients due to no information, I could care less no more about the money lost. Honestly Its not hurting me.

If someone doesnt have a previous provider they have seen then YES, I request information . Which includes PLACE OF EMPLOYMENT. WHY ? Many reasons. One it shows information that LE cannot paint in regards to an over night , fly by sting. Name on a company website, in a directory etc is solid. KNowing the person is who they say they are.

Two, The gents I see are 80 percent of the time professional , married, out of town and not looking for trouble. With the information they provide I can confirm any doubts. And I have NEVER ran into one bad client,never been shorted or not paid, never left unhappy with a date etc... Because I am selective on whom I see. When this isnt your job yet a hobby as well.. you have the gift of selection. and honesty it has kept me safe. Those whom see three ad four clients a day who need the money so they are less careful on screeing I am 100 percent sure they cannot say the same. How do I know because woman talk, and you see the stories on the boards.

I actually had/have a hard time as well since I don't use my real name but for maybe two of the women I've met. I actually missed out on a couple of women I'd have loved to have seen because I didn't have other providers for reference (though I had place of work and various other things, they just wouldn't take anything other than another 5 providers). It's understandable why they do it, but for people like me it also makes it a bit difficult (though, like I said, I do understand why they do it).
