I've only been there once before I didn't see much or get the full Vegas experience. Any advice on what to see, go do or places to eat? Thank you!

There are sooooooo many recommendations but it really depends on what you like.

Do you like upscale posh & glamour? Do you like the Rat-pack Vegas that movies portray? Or do you want to see where the natives play. Or a little of each?

What do you want to do? Do you want to go to an extravagent show? Dancing? Live music? Are you a "foodie"? Do you gamble? If so, what kind of play? Do you want to meet some clients?

You might also consider posting this on the Vegas board.

If you like what some folks would consider the seedy underbelly (LOL!) and you live music (unsigned bands) I can give you some tips. :)

Maybe not classic Vegas, but I wouldn't miss Lotus of Siam, if you like Thai.

My comments take forever to get approved so ignore the no advice comment. I wrote it late last night. Well I'm staying at the hard rock and flying. I will be there Friday afternoon till Sun check out time. I dont know how to gamble lol Not a big drinker. I do like to dance though. Not meeting clients going with gf. I'm not into posh upscale and glamour I'm into relax and have a bit of fun no pressure sort of thing.  I posted on the Vegas board and like got one response, And we all thought this board was dead?

"Brians' Beach Club" for GREAT sushi. In a small strip mall I like to just go in and say 'make me some sushi' when I am satisfied I tell them  I've had enough. They are great and fair priced!

If the want to see THE underground spot in the USA (like New York's CBGB's or MAX's Kansas City was on the 70's and 80's) yoo have got to go to the legendary THE DOUBLEDOWN SALOON.
This place in an indie music mecca and the biggest dive (I am serious about that) in the world. However, you just might see someone like Johnny Depp or Tim Burton amongst the mix of punks, rockabilly rebels, metalheads, hippies, and regular folks.
The specialty drinks: ASSJUICE and BACON MARTINIS, The action starts around 10-11 and goes till 4 am.
It's just a few blocks from the Hard Rock. It's also crowded, cheap and fun.
If to want to do some shopping for trendy urban and rock'n roll type stuff, WITHOUT the tourist hype and price, look up THE BROKEN LEASH. It's in a strip mall toward North Vegas. The family that run's it are cool. They even do custom fitting and tailoring of what you buy right there in the shop.
Lastly, here is the link to what I think is the best source for current Vegas happenings.
DAMN! I wish I could mett you all up there and party for a bit. I think we'd have a blast!
