Someone once told me humans have two great needs, one is to be needed by others and second is to be touched.I think without either we feel empty inside.Seeing clients fullfills both needs for me. I often feel that when a client walks through my door he is looking for so much more than sex. It also depends on the age of the client an older more mature guy say over 40 seems to want more of the connection then say a 30ish client although I have younger men that also want so much more.It depends on their state of mind at that time in their life....If a man has just gone through a messy break-up he might just need a good pop with no emotions envolved. Or if he has suffered a loss of a spouse it might be to soon to become connected it might still feel like he was cheating on her memory.everyone has a story as to why they find themselves knocking on that door.I can always tell which guys want to share and the ones that just want to get busy.The beauty of seeing a provider that is there someone to listen. This is important because men really have limited sources as to who they can talk to about personal issues and with an understanding provider they can open up and hopefully get a womans perpective with no hidden agenda.I love sharing my thoughts and truly like to help out if I can.My best experiences are with the guys that are open and leave you feeling like maybe you really did make a difference.I tend to get the guys that are looking for the whole package and being a people person that suits me just fine as I am always curious as to what brings you to my door.Men are just little boys that have gotten older but still need to feel wanted and loved and thats why I love my job because in some small way I feel needed and I love to be touched.....Victoria

You mentioned words such as “empty inside” and “limited sources to talk” as to why men see providers? In a conclusion: “The mass of men lead lives of quiet desperation".  Here is my metaphorical story:

I just finished bivouacking four-weeks in the Saudi Arabian desert, during "Desert Storm". I was tired, dirty, had a composite odor of feces and dead bugs and my hair, I had hair back then, was matted with sand. We came back from the field, to wash up, eat steak, and cut our hair. I was sitting in the barbers chair, and the REM song, "This one goes out to the one I love", came over Armed Forces radio. My heart sank faster than an errant SCUD missile. In that moment, I was so empty, I rattled, for all I could think about was "Monica", praying she thought of me as I thought of her. I was pissed off at Bush, and the rest, for taking me away from my kisses. Sweet tender, soft battleship lips.

That's the funny thing I learned about being in war, we could care less about Saddam Hussein, the New World Order, or any of that other Geo-political crap. I bivouacked with men, ate with men, fought with men, fought against men, even die for my guys and all we could think about were women.

Was "Jodi" (euphemism for home-wrecker) out with our women? When couldn't wait for mail-call for an answer?  Perfume letters were the best? Oooweee! At mail-call we wait for word from our girlfriends, and some of us would get the word in a letter: "Josephine" (euphemism for girlfriend or wife) was cheating on us. In a way saving Kuwait was easier than worrying if Jodi has your girl. Call it insecurity, it is, what it is.

We put those cheating heart letters and their pictures, on the board called; the wall of shame and say and do mean things. When we hurt, men will do stuff: clean our M-16's, polish our brass, write poetry, go in our caves, fight, or in other cases do awful things and I've seen it.

With a provider, a man has no illusions that Jodie is taking away our Josephine, we know the deal, and in the end we can have our kiss without the hurt. It isn't much, yes. Money cannot buy love, true, but for lot of us guys who aren't named Rockefeller, Brad Pitt or with physical problems, that's enough, a kiss, even if you got to pay 50 cents for it, Ala Charlie Brown. Thank you providers i.e. ladies, for soothing the savage beast within, and putting up with our coarse behavior and insensitive remarks. Thank you.
