Payton,
I am really sorry these guys have left you in this position. I would recommend that you write a formal legal demand letter and send it t him registered, return receipt required. This will require that he must sign for the letter. Be careful not to threaten him with disclosure. IMO, he is responsible to make you whole. He booked it and he should deal with his friend to pay his portion of the unpaid fees. There are a few alternatives that are viable if he elects to ignore your demand.
This is flakey and disrespectful. He will pay.  Good luck!

Hello

Recently I was booked for a 2 night trip with another provider by a past client. He had a "friend" coming as well.
My other provider and I made the preparations and made the trip and even before getting there my client began lacking proper communication to get us there on time. No phone calls or texts or emails answered for 3 days prior. We had the tickets so in good faith we made it there.

The other "friend" of his behaved poorly and after our first session of which he didn't want to wear a condom and then didn't want to "come" and acted frustrated, decided to not to go to our dinner plans. He then ended up locking me out of the room with all my belongings, clothes changes, toiletries, sex supplies ect until Mid day the following day.

At this point he was being pissy and the two of them informed the two of us that our trip was to be shorter. They only paid half the total fee and then left us with an additional 100 to change our airline reservations.

I have since written email and texted my original client telling him this is unacceptable and he needs to make us whole for the trouble and time of the trip.
He called me back and said he would talk to ill behaved "friend" ...
I since wrote him another email stating he is responsible as the know hobbyist and for setting up whether his
"friend" does the right thing or not.
What is your take on this as a community?

I know we should have gotten all the money up front but it was awkward and by the am /noontime after having no clothes or supplies I was too tired to argue.

Thanks
Payto

They say there is three sides to a story, your, theirs and the truth. I am not saying your lying but if it went down as you said IMO I think the "gentleman" making the arrangements should make good for the trip. Looking back no returned communication for three days is a big red flag, but hindsight is 20 20. What I don't understand why didn't this other guy get your clothes, etc for you.  I guess at the very least you can say this was a hell of a learning experience.

Guys like that give all of us a bad name and put women on edge...I would insist on full restitution, a sincere apology and for him to lose your number...

Although, I do think you should have insisted on compensation upfront.

Occasionally there is someone that is an abusive jerk and rips me off.  I give them a chance to rectify the problem. If they don't it escalates. I will tell them I'm going to forward all of their personal information to escort bad client warning lists all over the internet then I put their name and phone number and email on my website under a tab I construct just for them "naughty list".  I bring it to their attention and you will see how lightning fast they will make it up to you! Works every time.

But I really like the way you think...........

I require a 50% deposit to book & they always pay for my room &/or travel prior to the playdate.

Sorry this happened to you, but their is no 100% way to get the guy to pay you what he owes.  I call my criminal attorney anytime I have a question.  If you providers do not already have a criminal attorney, or a lawyer who specializes in our area of expertise I recommend always having 1 on hand just in case.

A letter, or call from my attorney pumps more fear, than I could ever.  If you travel it is a great idea to have the name & # of a good attorney in that particular city.

* Maybe Dave has a few options since he is well informed on this area

How effective might it be to blacklist him if he doesn't settle his obligation?

Mr Cooper, That's a good idea too. I don't think he would like to gamble with having a claim like that going public. He may change his handle if  blacklisted. What kind of man would cheat a provider? I would expose his name...

Spot on.  Write a formal demand letter, but do not threaten exposure or anything more.  He will get the message that you are serious, and that he breached a contract.

Are you guys serious..?? That's a like a bookie taking a client to small claims court, lol..

Live and learn and move on with life. It's to short to sweat the small stuff...

Thanks Everyone for the insight and responses.

Yes I should have taken a deposit, but it was a client whom I had already seen and he was good and paid well and fun before in my incall. I never expected any bad experience.

As well I should have probably not went with the lack of communication prior to leaving.

I will look into blacklisting and If anyone wants to know who these guys are I already told him he would receive a bad reference.  They are from Canada if you like a clue and the one uses 3 different names ....

Basically what had happened was they were partying so hard before we got there that they were too drunk to respond to me trying to reach them and when we arrived they were super hung over. The one who locked my stuff in his room fell asleep for a day an half so he didn't answer the door or phone. His friend kind of wondered if he died, as he has a heart problem I guess.

However even in light of all that to kick us out early and short us on pay and expect us to pay our ticket home is still wrong.

I am glad for the support and will have to change policy even on past clients to include deposits and such ahead of time just because of this incident.

Thanks Again
Payton

to be getting $hit face drunk. No to mention having a couple of ladys comming to see then. I would ask what were they thinking but obviously they weren't.

It doesn't matter for any reason, what they did was wrong.  Even if I was dying and having a heart attack, one look from you and those incredible porcelain blue eyes,  I'd figure out a way to rise from the dead (and a rise from other places as well !!)
