I am in no way trying to reraise any issues here specific to recent events. Instead this is a broader post relating to overall feelings of "security" within our community. Ideally Mya's post below is the best recourse when possible...however its not always a real option.

The nature of the "alledged transgression" simply highlighted overall concern at limiting potential fallout. Since we're all forced to "trust but verify" it's inevitable that personal data leaks out in some way sometime. Simply posting here leaves an IP trace for example (I believe). I think recent events simply underscore our vulnerablities and emphisis the need to play with those you trust.

Regardles of the petty squabbles and differences hopefully we'll all take a moment to reflect and recognize that there is no gain in the types of actions (alledged) outlined in recent events....this is one issue none of us should ever need to worry about here.
