I have to say that I'm a bit disappointed in your reply. I know you to be an experienced guy in this P4P world and so I'm perplexed that you would put forth the notion of a "LE check". In my opinion, there is no such thing! This topic has been flogged many times on the boards and, I believe rightly so, has been pretty much agreed to be a bogus way for anyone to protect themselves.
To the OP....You mention several ladies have told you that you look like a cop. So, I'm assuming you've had sessions with several ladies? If so and if they are reputable then have them vouch for you. By reputable I mean they have some presence somewhere other than simply an add on BP, ie a website, reviews etc. Many professional providers have "seen it all" so to speak and your looks alone, if you've described them accurately, should not be turning away so many women. Personally, I believe the idea of a stereotypical look for cops is bullshit anyway.

Not to make excuses, but I was looking at from the ladies perspective. Obviously if he is seeing a lady that checks references, it shouldn't be an issue. If he is finding girls on BP, for some reason these girls have been "trained" to do a LE check: grab their breasts, crotch, etc. My guess is that if he grabs her hand and puts it on his crotch, that would be suffice for the lady as an LE check.

Yes, I've participated in "LE checks" before, in the early days of finding women on CL or BP. I always knew it was bs but figured that if it made the woman more comfortable then no harm. Though it did make me question the persons intelligence....lol So in that situation, if the OP was asked to participate then I'd say sure go along with it. But I also don't want to perpetuate the myth of a "LE check", hence my earlier post.

Yes meeting ladies from BP who do not screen can be problematic but goes with the territory. Yes I pissed and moaned about it but I was on a rant.
I have met some stellar gems on BP and as stated from my last post some real flakes. It's also true that not all ladies who screen and are highly reviewed are guarantied to not have issues. I've seen $300 an hour ladies who weren't any better and were sometimes worse than some $180 ladies. YMMV is as close as you can get to the truth.
As to looking like a cop.. well that's what I've been told by enough ladies that there must be some truth to it. I'm a large intimidating guy. I scare all my kids friends

I made the mistake once of using phonetics once repeating what I thought was the street name--been playing around with ham radio for almost three decades now. Got to the intersection, called, no answer!
I did have someone I was going to meet start acting strange when I called from the designated call me when you get to this intersection. After going through a runaround about coming to get me and my natural reaction that driving to where I am only to turn around and drive back to your home just wastes your time, I was finally told, well you don't sound like a cop, so this is my info. It never occurred to me that was about fear I was with “Johnny Law”, that never occurs to me!
