I've see several Independent ASP ads for girls who were once associated with DD/AZC...sapposedly the cream of the crop.  Even today, I noticed on BP one of the most recently arrested has simply changed her name and already has a website up and running.  My question is with the arrests being so public why would one revert back to providing when LE is undoubtedly keeping tabs on them?  A simple name change isn't going to clear the fact that she was arrestd and that her mugshot & name was plastered across the country.  I'm sure the money is good but is it worth sacraficing your freedom to get caught again?  And, to the hobbiest, why would anybody still want to see them?  If the ASP sung like a canary against DD/
ACZ this time what would make you think she won't sing agian if she gets pinched as a independent?

Sisboombah;

I do believe that you have just asked a question that MANY of us have pondered ourselves.  I, for one, feel very shaky about providing said girls with references (and, if I am honest about it, don't think that I would) and will certainly never accept a reference from one of them.

It is indeed a quandry, but I suppose - and I am sure we'll hear from their white knights - everybody needs to make a buck.

$tay $afe,
Jazz

out of the hundreds of thousands of guys in the potential client pool, i doubt very many of them could accurately identify the divas.

close to half of my business comes from out of town guys.

why would they revert back to providing ?

they werent convicted of prostitution so if they are busted again, it would just be a first offense. (i think)

besides that, they will rationalize the situation by telling themselves that le isnt interested in them as independents.

they are always ways to rationalize things when you want to do something you know you shouldnt.

also, to be fair, they are not the ones that "sung like canaries"... yeah they pled guilty but at least they went down with the organization....  .. there were quite a few divas that DIDNT have their names and mugshots plastered all over the news, because they werent arrested... because they aided in the investigation PRIOR to the bust.

i'd be way more concerned about the ones who DIDNT go to jail than the ones who did.

I would like to see every ex DD girl (except the ones that walked scott free).  Prices are better now and they probably like what they are doing more.

Where is the love?

Because they got in trouble we disown them.  Me I love them.

Sing again? If you don't commit a crime you should be okay.

Love to spend a couple of hours with one of those young lovelies just holding hands and looking at the stars.

Ana, darling, what you have said is all very, very true. It is something every client should take to heart. Many clients are unaware about the way the system works and the provider’s reality inside that system. So,,,

After an arrest, the ladies ALWAYS have to bear a huge amount of legal expense. Somehow the ladies have to get the money to pay and pay and pay.

Escorting can be quite lucrative. If one is willing to work and compromise there is a lot of money that can be made in a hurry. "The powers that be" know this and they defiantly want to get paid, so it becomes financially efficacious for the unfortunate ladies caught in the system to get back to work as soon as they can.

LE, bail bondsmen, attorneys, the courts, there support personnel and other less visible areas of local governments and civil authorities function in concert to create a "revolving door policy" that benefits (and some may say even thrive) off the labor and profits of honest hard working, well-intentioned escorts/providers.

This "revolving door policy" stinks... Something needs to be done to change it...

I LOVE YOU ALL,

Sheika Fatima

P.S. I agree: the use of the phrase "sung like canaries" is rather presumptive...

Virtually all of them are on one year probation for a class 6 felony.  They risk violation or parole and prison time.  So they should be very careful.

They did avoid the mandatory 15 days in jail for prostitution misdemeanor. But again the risk is parole violation.

They also had to have dna taken and restricted from using alcohol and other conditions.

Not a good situation obviously for what is legal and no big deal, in almost all the world except the U.S.

We don't know how much they "sang" for their plea deals.  They faced multiple higher level felonies that could have resulted in many years in prison.

They plead to a class 6 felony and got probation. We do not know what they had to tell prosecutors to get that kind of relatively good deal compared to the initial grand jury indictment charges.

When TOPS was busted everyone received probation.  Including the owner.  I would imagine as then they needed no one to sing.  They had more evidence than anyone needed.

Nearly all European nations have realized that continued criminalization of commercial sex work only serves to corrupt law enforcement and create the system of lawyers, bail agencies, courts and prisons that thrive off of the flow of women through the "non-criminal non-justice" system as it pertains to commercial sex work.

If the USA was seriously interested in reducing the public health risk of commercial sex and reducing organized crime, it would adopt the lessons from European nations and GROW UP!!

The truth is that too many parties profit from criminalization and they also politically benefit from pandering to social conservatives.

Remember there were just 43 new indictments.  Likely they had gals help with who was who etc, although this is just speculation.

And the DA has said the investigation is still in its early stages with more indictments expected.

These later waves of the witch hunt is where the concern is about the gals scared into giving info for their plea bargains not the original wave where yes they had tons of evidence direct from undercovers talking to those that talked all about sex for money and the operation.  But they didn't have enough other than first 40 or so on the first wave and are now into wave 2

Remember that in phase one they also did not have the books and other documents they took from DD.  Many of these round 2 or possible 3 could have come from this as well.  You do not need the witness testomony when you have a money trail.
