Hi everybody,  I just wanted to share with you something that happened to me today.  A man phoned me for an appointment and almost immediately started asking "sensitive" questions.  I politely told him that I was uncomfortable with it(you would think that people would actually "read" a website and be aware of appropriate behavior before phoning a lady) and I would first have to check a reference to make sure he was ok.  Well, he immediately got on the defensive and said that he would never give a name of any provider he has seen to assure of her privacy.  I explained nicely to him that I only want to be sure he is safe.....and that's all.  Well, by now he is practically yelling at me telling me that he sees 2-3 providers per week(yeah, right), and has been doing so for years and has Never given any lady a reference.  I explained to him that I just cannot open my door to just anyone and I don't know of any self-respecting provider who does it any differently.  He then said he was taking a chance to see me as I could be cash and dash(as if I'm going to invite someone over to my place and do something so awful).......so I told him to take a look at my reviews on many different sites and he responded by saying that we ladies write the reviews ourselves.  Well, his bullying tactics did not work.......either he is LE or just a total moron.  I asked him where he finds these "ladies" who don't ask for references and he said "all over"  but he did mention backpage, and the newspapers before mentioning internet.  
My point to this long story is........that we ladies have to stick together to continue to check references and not become too complacent even if business is slow.  Although probably 99% of the time, we are safe, it's that small percentage that can hurt us and can easily catch us off-guard.  I so appreciate the fact that all the respectable ladies check out a gentleman first and I hope it continues for the sake of our safety and the industry in general.

My philosophy is that if you've really seen that many providers than there is a provider out there that will give a reference.

me and leaving nasty voicemails cause I exploited him on this board. Be careful everyone cause it will probably get alittle more worse before he is finally out of here. Utah ran him out already and it's a shame that the girls who were subject to him or them do not come out and tell all... What if someone gets really hurt, hope it doesn't have to come to that.
