The last time I saw a provider was more than two years ago.  There is only one provider I have seen who is still active, and she may or may not remember me.

Is this generally an issue in seeing someone new?  Any advice is appreciated

It makes you a newbie again and you'll have to jump through all the same hoops as anyone else just starting out.
