And I thought Phoenix was dead. :)

I contact a very well reviewed Phoenix provider June 8th, via email.
We correspond via email 7 times. (all very positive and upbeat) Last email 1 week ago.
At 4pm today we talk by phone to set up and confirm exact time, today, (6:30pm).
At 5pm she calls me, says she is running late she can be here by 7:30
At 7pm sends me a text, says she is running way behind, asks me not to be mad, but she is still coming. I tell her I'm not mad, but ask her if she will be too tired.
Thanks me for understanding and says she'll depart for here,  8:30pm.
At 9pm she asks where do I go?
At 9:15pm I call her on phone, she says she will call as soon as she gets close.
Like a dummy, I call @ 11:45 pm ... no answer, then again @ 12:10 pm ... no answer.

How in the @#%@ did this very well reviewed Phoenix lady get 2 pages of glowing reviews by reputable Phoenix hobbyist?

I'm here to have a fun time and not cause any trouble, but WTF?

Why is it that names can never be mentioned along with posts like these?  Is it not just as valuable to know a provider did not show as to know the details of when they did?  If a provider is well reviewed then the reader can decide how to receive the information.  For those who travel, timing is very important.  Shouldn't we all be accountable for our actions?  Who was it?

I can tell you exactly why...  If you try to write a review about your frustrating experience, it will go nowhere.  I know -- I tried that years ago when something similar happened to me.  TER does not allow reviews of no-shows.  It is part of their policy.  While I can understand that, it does skew things.  So, as long as she is very nice to the guys she doesn't blow off, then she'll continue getting great reviews.  Because the poor suckers (no offense intended!) won't be able to do a damned thing about it...

Amen!  I try to do that a couple of times and TER would not do a thing.  So, I just post here to warn the few that might read the board.  I posted on 2 last week and one had nothing but great reviews.  I even told her I was a hobbiest, but she probably thought....well its not like he can post a review if does not see me.

Check some of the prior posts. There seem to be a number of well reviewed ladies here that have taken to doing this kind of stuff. Nobody will 'out' them so the rest of us can make better decisions, so it continues.

I stick with those I know WELL anymore.

Sorry to read about your situation last night.
There is no excuse, but as a veteran hobbyist you know these things happen from time to time. There are other fantastic providers in Phoenix who will be more than happy to see you. With the long upcoming weekend, a few of the best may take refuge in colder climates, however. so act fast. Good luck and turn the ignore option off my pm address or I won't be able to help you anymore.

Your right, there is absolutely no excuse!
The least she could have done would have been to call or even answer the phone and say something, (even my cat died).
I wasn't mad, just disapointed.

This lady was not one from your list or From 85003, so my bad.

Luckly my afternoon experience was fantastic!

The rest of my stay is already set up with yours or his approval.

I was just looking for some extra evening fun.

I can't imagine what dummy would have put you on my ignore list (since I'm the only one here).

I appreciate all your help and must have done it from my dumb/smart phone.

I have turned it off now.

With only 2 pages of reviews, sounds like a new gal and I am sure a young one too.  Since the huge change we had 2 years ago, I have noticed that the ladies who have come into the business have no sense of providing good customer service.  Sad but true.

They don't realize that in a bad/slow economy you need to step it up a notch in your services NOT get worse or have a don't care attitude.

I am so sorry Chicago that you had a bad experience but know there are a number of great ladies who would love to show you some Phoenix hospitality.

he and I are just having some fun here.  I am not being mean or nasty or a know it all. Just trying to had some life and fun to a dead board.

Chicago and I have talked on the phone and just playing with each other here or in his words....fishing/teasing.

But the facts are the sad facts...he was stood up by a young, newer gal last night but has plans with other wonderful ladies the rest of his trip.

So don't take his comments wrong.  I am not in any way a know it all or a Miss Smarty Pants and by the way it's MS not Miss (lol).  Just offering my experience in this hobby - which is 5 years as of this weekend.

Hope everyone has a great week and a wonderful holiday weekend.  Make some of your own fireworks.

What’s the old saying shit happens but it pisses us off when happens to us. I think the problem was that she just overbooked just like the airlines do to cover their ass for the NS.

I’m sure you’ll still have fun here you got some good ones on your list. Some of our finest so treat them right and they’ll take good care of you.

I'm sure that he is a nice guy and a gentleman but ... "No reason to destroy her reputation on this board."  WTF?!?!?  Isn't the board a place for exchanging information? If she was a no show/no call that needs to be known so others can make their own decisions about planning for her visit.

As far as her reputation - from the scenario presented by the OP, it sure looks like she's doing a great job of it on her own.  He even said that it might have been different if she had at least answered her phone and made up some lame excuse (although don't know if any can beat that "I had a facial appointment" excuse mentioned recently!!).
