The phrase has a positive impact on me in choosing a provider. Not because I am looking to get "extra time," but because I feel it sets a tone, even a mood for the session.

Frankly, timing makes me nervous. It's just the way I am. When I am thinking that *I* have to watch a clock for an exact tiem, I am NEVER relaxed and fully present.

The same is true about the cost.

Here is what I infer from "I'm not a clock watcher."

-- There is not another guy showing up just as I'm leaving
-- The lady will be relaxed and ready to 'go with the flow'
-- She will have what we are doing on her mind, not how much longer she has to be with me
-- Too, she will be focusing on the session without thinking about how much more I owe her if we accidentally run over
-- I will be free to get 'lost' in the moment if everything goes very well.
-- I won't break my budget.

I am not the type to take advantage of the situation, but I have always like doing things "by the job" instedd of "by the hour."

With all that being said, I make no complaints about any provider's personal approach to her business or rates. But there is not just ONE WAY to do determine costs and services in the hobby.

So the other day, on one of the boards, there was a discussion about this often used phrase "not a clock watcher"  in describing a date with an escort.  Some ladies took offense, saying it set a tone for future dates and that clients would expect extra time. Other escorts said it diidn't bother them at all.  So ladies, do you like or dislike the phrase and gents do you think there's a chance you'll get some extra time when you read the phrase.

I enjoy each and every one of my gentleman friends and want them to be relaxed and not feel rushed.
I do not even have a clock in the room,because I don't want the worrying about time to be an issue.
If I go over by 15  min it's not a big deal to me,the only time i worry about time is if the gent has an appt he has to make or has to be home at a certain time.

HOW CAN I GET COMFORTABLE KNOWING THERE'S A TIME LIMIT INVOLVED: This is a great way to determine which providers' are truly independent vs. the providers' who are being pimped. We, as hobbyist need to look past the fascination of it all & realize the easiest thing in the entire world for a woman to do is to have sex! I read all these reviews' where you guys' mention & describe how the provider enjoys having sex with you & how she is achieving Her orgasms, etc. In all, you're the one providing the pleasure & not her doing her job. With that being said I ask you "what in the world" would a woman need with $301-600+ dollars of your earned money for 1 hour of "so-called" fun where (in most cases) you, the hobbyist, painfully struggles to get it back up for a 2nd cup? I figure in this: every hobbyist goal is to have that special moment with a $301-600+ per hr provider thinking that she is the most sexually charged, ready-to-rock-your-world arm trophy you could ever find when, in all, she is either an agency or just on a self-esteem power-trip!!! Don't get sucked in to this web of madness where the provider has you thinking you have to be out the door after your 2nd cup is released in a matter of an hour or so or else fork-out more $$$ for extended time!!! Only the true independent providers' will allow you to stay with them for several hours on end for their 1 hr fee & not watch the clock or expect you to leave after your 2nd or 3rd cup is released ... and oh, if you happen to discover one of these types, chances are she's a "non-pro" who operates "under the radar" & she cannot be reviewed. To be truthful I have yet to find one who can truly "knock my socks off" in a matter of 1 true hour of pure fun. Any suggestions besides Piper's show???

As long as I'm having fun, I'm not too concerned about bringing it to a screeching halt just to kick someone out and I could care less what the dude says about it and if he does mention it, I could care less what some other dude's expectations will be from it.  

I sell an hour so if a guy is paying for an hour, he can expect an hour.
Rarely will I give anything extra to someone who "expects" it from me.

Expecting something just because you read it in a review is ridiculous.  I refuse to allow anyone to obligate me to anything that is written in reviews, I don't write them,  I don't read them.

My business comes from my ads.  If my business came from reviews, hobbyists and review sites would be in control of my business instead of me.   F that.  

So the real problem these girls have is that they use reviews for marketing.
That's not the reason review sites came into existence, if I remember correctly.
Reviews are supposed to be for guys to save money, not for girls to make money.

Misuse of the review system for the purpose of marketing often create problems in the long run, that should be common sense..
I can't even count how many escorts say their business is ruined when their reviews get taken down, it's ridiculous.  Use ads to market yourself and no need to worry about anything other than what your ads say and the neat part is, you get to write those.

Let the boys talk.  It's sort of lame to be concerned about what they say.
Nobody should be able to effect your business but YOU.

If you can't figure out how to walk a guy to the door when his "allotted" time is up just because he read you weren't a clock-watcher,   I guess you deserve to suffer through that 10-15 minutes of extra time you don't want to give.  What's stopping you from writing an ad that says you ARE a clock watcher if you're THAT concerned about someone staying extra time ?

I think the phrase is offensive. I would be ashamed to hear of anyone who chased a client out because of a few extra minutes.

I want our time to be fun and sensuous and happy and flirty and touchy and explorative. If its a new client breaking that ice takes a few minutes sometimes. To penalize someone for their own comfort is just a sign of a worthless companion.

I also generally book longer appointments but even if I didnt I rarely book a second appointement on the same day. And when in the rare event that I do,  you can bet that they are hours and hours apart. I just cant see being rushed. For me customer service is a  highly critical component of my offering. I dont mind it being in my review and I dont think that the gentelmen who seek me out are one bit more likely to take advantage of it.

This is exactly my thought, too Because I am a fetish provider, I need a few minutes of conversation to make sure we are covering all the do's, dont's and maybe's before we get started...plus, things like bondage take time, and when the strap-on gets involved, well, sometimes I am just having too much fun to stop,  LOL!!

so I wouldn't expect any extra time but, if I did  read it in more than one review, I do think there's a chance that she might not be a clock watcher with me, either. A lady that I saw recently in Phoenix was really very generous with her time with me. Usually by those who expect extra time or feel taken aback when made aware time is actually up. I'm not a clock-watcher but I think i've done this just long enough to be aware of the time. I allow a tiny bit of extra time but it should never be expected I don't care if it's your first time hanging out with me or the 100th. I love to have fun and not be stressed but I don't want or want someone to expect to stay there welcome because i'm so "cool and easy-going". I'm cool as ice but don't confuse me for a doormat. Let's not confuse (however a lady wants to say it) that ya'll time together is up with her because a clock-watcher. Not a clock watcher means a lady won't have a fit if the session runs over ten minutes or so.  Thought it meant you might get an extra hour for free?  Think again, Hobbyist Boy.  Reserve the amount of time you think you will need and this shouldn't be an issue.  Why would you want to stay over your paid time anyhow.  The guys on this board are ridiculous and cheap, I swear to God.

Cool beans!!! I'm glad you're shocked & offended. Let my post be a wake up call for those providers' who play "the power of pussy" over a hobbyist & then not deliver as promised. I realize it is important to have high self-esteem, but I would assume the more expensive a provider is the more she would deliver my taylor-made fantasy ... especially when $$$ of my dollars are being invested. 2x I have invested in those higher-priced providers' only to be disappointed. Both gal's advertise at $500 per hr promising a "one in a lifetime experience" & having TER reviews' to back them up, so here I am expecting a stellar gfe-pse experience. To top that off I initially nailed the 1st gal providing in Tucson(only 100 miles away) at a substantially lower donation, & the 2nd gal set her donation based on how she viewed the entire industry. Both gals' performances included some gfe components but not a chance on a pse, & the end result in both cases resulted in a mediocre performance from both of these has beens as the 1st gal performed like this was a task for her & the 2nd gal lacked the sensuality necessary to match her hefty donation. I'm afraid to post a mediocre review on them since all the rest of their reviews are rated dramatically higher. $150-200 hr is the most I would've invested in each of them had I set the donation. Go figure!!!
