I was called a smart cookie a little bit ago. What the hell does that mean??

Is a smart cookie one that knows how to avoid being eaten? Or in this wonderful hobby of ours, is the smart cookie the one that knows how to get eaten?  

Curious how the word cookie is used depending on setting. To toss your cookies is bad, right? To be a smart cookie is good, I guess because you don't get tossed? A tough cookie is good, or bad, depending on setting. I mean, I don't want to try to eat a tough cookie...it might fight back!!

Speaking of food related speech, cool as a cucumber is good, a tough nut to crack is inscrutable, a fruit or a nut identifies mental instability, and to pop a cherry has nothing to do with things you buy at Safeway. Putting the same things through a dirty, mind in the gutter filter, cucumbers aren't very cool after being where I've seen them on porn sites, a tough nut to crack is someone with some serious stamina, a fruit or a nut relates to an alternative lifestyle and to pop a cherry still has nothing to do with things you buy at Safeway.

To be the apple of someone's eye can be great or scary, to be a hot dog is be a show off, to relish something is to enjoy it immensely and to be the greatest thing since sliced bread is what?? I don't know, but give me that damn bread and I'll wrap it around the hot dog and add the relish and then eat the damn apple for dessert!!

Way too much time on my hands today.

You are assuming the cookie's  goal is to survive but maybe a cookie's first best destiny is to be eaten.  So the smart cookie makes itself the most appealing. Works for the hobby too..

What about  boobs?  We love em, but we don't want to be them, there are  boobs with boobs and boobs with no boobs.  Lots of people who aren't boobs have boobs. The birds in nature  that are boobies  don't have  boobies  but birds in the hobby  do have boobies.  Many of our leaders are boobs who don't have boobs but like boobs and try keep that hidden from the rest of the boobs.  If your boob is hurt is it a  booby boo boo?  Do you buy boobs at Boobs in a Box?  Are you a boob for reading about boobs  written  by a boob?

Everyonce in a while something decent falls out of my head.
