Hosting a friend this week and would like to know your favorite hotels?
Ideally under 400 that has a nice room and either onsite or close to a good spot for food and drinks. A soaking tub would be a bonus, as she likes those.

The Valley Ho is a great spot imo. Classy vintage feel but modern and fun. I really liked the vibe there.  They have at least a couple rooms at the end of a hall that have wrap around private patios outside and big tubs inside the room. Might be hard to get one of those rooms on a week’s notice this time of year but worth a shot. There’s a restaurant on site that turns into basically a club for the younger set in the evenings but you won’t hear that from your room I don’t think. Walking distance from a few great eating spots, quick drive from many more. Really cool main pool area with a bar, and one or two smaller pools tucked away around the site. With a little luck you may have a pool to yourselves. Room service was pretty tasty as I recall.
